Are sword kills even possible?
I have never gotten a kill with a sword in crucible, how do you people do it? How am I supposed to complete my exotic sword bounty? And the sword kills with a crota mask?

Go mayhem, I got it in 3 matches.

I've got all three, I play rift because people are not focused on heavy like they normally are. Get heavy, crouch and sneak to get your kills. Usually get 25 in about 6 matches.

I've done one sword legit and it's challenging but not impossible. Most of the people I know went into rumble and boosted for theirs. To each their own.

Equip it without having ammo.. then pray to be in a small map in the winning team.. and u will get kills :) will take a few games but it works

You are right, 0 people on this game have exotic swords. It is impossible.

Any inferno game mode. People in those playlists seem to have 0 situational awareness.

Wait round a corner and use third person to your advantage. Use the block button when charging. Swinging sword also closes distance.

Use objective based maps And keep trying. Didn't get a kill to save my life and now hot exotic arc and solar. Working up my hunter for the void one

Left trigger to block incoming damage its like a better version of blade dance if you time it right

Just go around and smack people with the hilt. I tend to let hilt chargers kill me because I know the feeling.

Crouch around corners lol it's priceless when they get ambushed like that haha

Press R1/RB at the right time Also you have to be in the crucible

Once you get the heavy just hide around corners and be patient, the other team will come to you

Use your block to get in close then swing

You could always boost in rumble with some friends.

Also, when you have sword ammo, dont forget you have actual guns. Too many times I've seen a sword swing from height to covet ground quickly to get to me, and I switch from sword to shotgun and answer that way. You can also block with your sword, let them pop a clip in you and then swing as they reload. Also: Bolt caster

I got 25 kills with the hilt to get my exotic quest finished...and I suck at crucible. I'd say it's possible. I didn't go into rumble with friends either... Haha If you want to get actual sword kills though, you should probably pick up the heavy and run away and get squared up and then go hunting. If you have the sword ready at the heavy ammo drop there will be people ready to kill you from long range.

Jump block close to them and then swing away bro or use corners and walls with 3rd person view to give you advantage on unaware people. Also block when caught in the open as you can block nearly any weapon except maybe sleeper simulant l.
