Are sword kills even possible?
I have never gotten a kill with a sword in crucible, how do you people do it? How am I supposed to complete my exotic sword bounty? And the sword kills with a crota mask?

Play an underpowered class such as a Defender to have them underestimate you, then slide the blade slowly into their heart through the use of Disintegrate and well placed bubbles during heavy ammo drops.

Axiom bolt/Arcbolt/Firebolt and then melee with the hilt

Find two friends. Que as a group for rumble. Hide on edge of map as to not disturb gameplay. Farm kills off friends. Done. [spoiler]Works even better if you can get two groups, que at the same time for Clash as you can rez which speeds up the process.[/spoiler] This works for all the pvp quests. As someone who really despises Destiny PvP but is OCD about weapon collecting this method is great. [i]Incoming salty whinning I am sure...[/i]

Go into Inferno Control this week and hide near one of your control points. Use that hilt, and you will rack up kills fast- a buddy of mine got 24/25 kills in one game.

For the exotic sword kills u don't have to have heavy ammo in sword for the kills to count. U can kill people with just the hilt/handle and it still counts as a sword kill for the quest. I loaded up some control matches and just ran around hitting people with the handle all match....took a little while but I got it done

Edited by MetalSiren IXI: 11/4/2015 4:22:23 PMIt's easier in Rumble, more 1 vs 1 battles. In larger battles you have more people gunning for you cause they know you have a 1 hit kill weapon. I was shocked at how many I was able to get. If you catch someone with only primary ammo then you can block all of their bullets.

I did it in a mayhem mode. Heavy ammo aplenty and people play recklessly.

I used my super when the enemy team went for their heavy, so none of the enemies can kill me with rockets or machine guns, that gave me the edge. Best map for sword kills where everyone hates, Thieves Den, tight tunnels n I got 11 kills on that map. The funniest part as that I didn't realize I ran out of heavy amoos and the last two kills were with that hilt. lol. Finished the bounty in 3 games when i thought it was mission impossible. I get heavy, go invisible and just sneak up on everyone. I finished the Crota thing in one match. Actually got about 10 kills in that match from a single heavy drop. Don't use the hilt like an idiot

Camp. Camp for days. Crouch round an corner with the hilt at the ready (no ammo needed). When an unsuspecting person comes past bash the back of their head with it. Sure it takes two hits to kill but it's easier than trying to get ammo first. Also play in the daily crucible to get them. I've noticed there are far more morons just wanting their 15 marks in the daily, as opposed to the normal play lists full of people who play crucible all the time.

With no ammo, you can hit people with the hilt. It's a two-hot kill. I was working on my 25 kills for Dark Drinker on Monday, was down to my last nine going into a new round (in Rumble), and just ran around using the hilt and ended up on 1st place for the first half of the match. It was ridiculous, but fun.

I'm a fail at PvP but kill with blade is one of the most easy thing to do... You have a 3rd person view .... Can see everything around you easily.

Did mine on the mayhem mode get ammo hide wait till supers are prob gone then kill

I did mine in an inferno playlist. No radar makes it a hundred times easier to surprise people.
