There is no easy way to say it...
This game has so much potential, but without a way to track growth, or provide competitive goals to aspire to,
Destiny is going to fall apart.

I agree 100 percent
-
3 RepliesUmmm... No. It's a mainly PvE game. If that's a problem sorry to tell you, you're -blam!-ed.
-
One year in still going strong I think they will be ok.
-
2 Repliesnah, I want to keep dominate scrubs :-)
-
Thats what trials is for -blam!-ing -blam!- ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-
Agreed.
-
I agree.
-
4 RepliesThere is also the fact that the lack of custom games badly prevents the game from ever hitting e-sports, iv said from day one they wasted a ton of potential with what they could have done and the pvp just feels added for the sake of having it
-
Never seen u post like this mtashed

1 ReplyI have no words. Only a big thumbs up.
-
4 RepliesSome of us just play for fun. Not to show how cool we are in a fake reality. We reserve that for real life.
-
If it was going to die, it would never have made it to year 2
-
no it won't
-
3 RepliesPvP sucks and so do the idiot neckbeards that wank over their kd. -blam!- you bungie for making me play it to get exotics.
-
You are in the minority, sorry.
-
4 RepliesDestiny would be awesome without pvp.
-
I'm having flashbacks from year one. 2014 called and they want their thread topic back.
-
lol, no it will be just fine...
-
Don't have to have 'competitive' in every game. Sigh
-
Needs matchmaking badly
-
Only reason I see why they didn't do private matches yet, is that it would make lots of people play just that. There would be not enough players left for quick matchmaking, if you just playing on your own. Well maybe, I don't know.

2 RepliesSeeing all these replies shows me exactly why most of the good pvpers will be leaving for other titles unless Bungie does something

Edited by Weeza: 10/8/2015 2:58:29 PMIts the truth but 99% of this forum wont get this, idk why people play a shooter and wont compete with each other its a human nature...without people that search a new challenge or try do it better with passion we would not be able to play games today for example. I started this level of (friendly)competition with my friends when i was younger on n64 with golden eye it was so much fun or even before on snes with mortal kombat. After that i bought a xbox with Halo 2 and since than im addicted to its multiplayer its so much fun! I dont see the challenge in beating programmed AI where you can whipe over and over again and after you figured it out it becomes a cake walk and a grindfest. I enjoy both aspects of the game but i hate grinding and farming it just kills my braincells and a handfull of strikes and 3 raids in one year is not enough for me to keep me playing pve content... So whats left? In destiny? unbalanced pvp that would have so much potential from bungie which revolutionized/invtented matchmaking not only on consoles or shooters! something like that wasnt there before even on pc master race! You can blame me for it but im not a elitist and many of my xbl friends left this game because pvp is not as satisfying as it was in halo and i will also leave it when halo 5 is any good and to all PS- players its sad you missed that and now have to deal with this messed up pvp from a legendary company...

It's so funny when PVE'rs go into the crucible and get shit whipped then go to the forums and whine to get rid of crucible
-
Not sure if it's going to die, but I would love to play private rumble matches with my full static raid team as a friendly competition.

Pvp is a necessary component to this game. Once pve gets dull after an expansion one can turn to pvp and continue to use the weapons and gear they love in a more challenging environment. Here's my problem with it in ttk. The amount of losing matches half completed you spawn into now vs before has doubled. Unfortunately because of the new bounties and more specifically the pvp quest line that calls for wins in a certain fashion, players are leaving matches when they feel they aren't going to win hence creating this mess. Nobody likes to turn on the ole ps4 log in to destiny and start a crucible control match only to be thrown in with a team that's losing 14000 to 5000. Where is the mercy rule? I thought this was going to be addressed with that? Solution, there needs to be some sort of penalty or cooldown for abandoning matches and it could even be stackable. For example... You abandon a match and you can't join another for 5 minutes. Do it again and it's now 10 minutes and so on and so on... Thoughts? Discuss amongst yourselves
