Tlaloc isnt as good as you think it is in PVP

I am just going to put this out there
Tlaloc sucks guys.
TLDR: It's less good than Mida was before 2.0, and mida now. Mida was never T1 (might be now) therefore the gun is a solid T2 gun. Comparative to other [u]Y2[/u] scouts it's probably the best pvp scout, equal to Hung Jury with good rolls. However my main issue is that it pales in comparison to Mida.
It relys on having a super to be worse Mida, stat wise, it is only worse than my Suros Dis.
In pvp it is clearly meant to be a Mida archetype, but the gun is far worse than the mida. The Mida gives speed bonus and hair trigger at all times, and Tlaloc only has equal fire rate and handling with your super. Even then it doesnt handle nearly as well.
I was super hyped for this gun, but it let me down. It's not complete garbage, and does do well in pvp. It does 61 damage headshots and Mida does 55, so it still takes 4 headshots for a kill, but Mida does it faster, and lets you strafe better.
You can get a 2 headshot 2 bodyshot kill with Tlaloc, but 4 headhsots in a row with Mida is so easy though, because Mida has High Cal rounds with super high stagger as a hidden perk

Well I like the gun but I'll put that aside. It's the only gunsmith class exotic that actually feels like it was designed specifically for a class/subclass. And that is a good thing regardless of how you feel about it. Because there is really no reason why the AoS and Fabian are class specific.

It's the same archetype as the vision of confluence not MIDA it only becomes the same archetype as MIDA when you have your super and even then it's not really supposed to be MIDA. Watch planet destiny's review on it

Dude you have 9 kill with the gun. Give it a minute to get use to it. Yes it is going to be different, and yes MIDA was a fun gun. But with year 2 and guns being left behind new ones will have to take the place of old guns. So all I am saying it try it out for more than one match before throwing it out.

It has an innate Grenadier, which is always useful. Eye of the Storm is situational, but it does come in handy when you're about to die, especially in pvp. When you do get your super, Tlaloc puts off some insane dps. I was once ignorant to its power too before actually giving it a chance. Now, it's my favorite primary. It does really well in Mayhem.

9 RepliesStats don't mean anything, it's about play style. I have below average K/D in pvp but have done better than others because of how I play, mida is the thorn/last word of scouts. I'm not saying it's op, I'm saying it's the go to scout for people that don't have a good enough play style to adapt to other situations with scout rifles.

1 Reply....what drugs are you on? Tlaloc is top tier! Even all the reviews are good including Planet Destiny, you just are not using it right. Look if you like to waste your super every time it comes up then be a Titan.
