Tlaloc isnt as good as you think it is in PVP
THIS IS ABOUT PVP, I GET THAT ITS GOOD IN PVE
I am just going to put this out there
Tlaloc sucks guys.
TLDR: It's less good than Mida was before 2.0, and mida now. Mida was never T1 (might be now) therefore the gun is a solid T2 gun. Comparative to other [u]Y2[/u] scouts it's probably the best pvp scout, equal to Hung Jury with good rolls. However my main issue is that it pales in comparison to Mida.
It relys on having a super to be worse Mida, stat wise, it is only worse than my Suros Dis.
In pvp it is clearly meant to be a Mida archetype, but the gun is far worse than the mida. The Mida gives speed bonus and hair trigger at all times, and Tlaloc only has equal fire rate and handling with your super. Even then it doesnt handle nearly as well.
I was super hyped for this gun, but it let me down. It's not complete garbage, and does do well in pvp. It does 61 damage headshots and Mida does 55, so it still takes 4 headshots for a kill, but Mida does it faster, and lets you strafe better.
You can get a 2 headshot 2 bodyshot kill with Tlaloc, but 4 headhsots in a row with Mida is so easy though, because Mida has High Cal rounds with super high stagger as a hidden perk

I use the tlaloc with max discipline and starfire protocol. With tlalocs Grenadier the amount of scorching fusion grenades I chuck is downright sick : p

You have your super stored for a long time, until you die and have a multi kill opportunity around your ghost then poof. I'm loving Tlalock so far

2 RepliesYou're doing something wrong guy. When supercharged, the tlaloc is the best scout in the game by far. It's ttk is insanely low and it just feels good. It's like if the last word and mida multi got together and had an awkward child that grew up to be better than both of them.

6 RepliesOutside of trials I use the mida. If they end up putting a light level restriction on trials of let's say. ...290. I'll be quite pissed. On the other hand there are a ton of scrubs playing crucible right now. TLDR Hung jury is a far better gun than any of the scouts out there atm

I love it. Base stats are pretty similar to Boolean with slightly better impact. So it's pretty good prior to getting your super. But it's an absolute beast with your super up, can't imagine many guns can out dps it. Perfect for sunsinger. Can't really compare it to the yr1 guns as all the yr1 guns are better. But with that said I would rather have the tlaloc over the mida

4 RepliesStats for this weapon look sub-par, just wait till that super hits full and you'll get the hype. It's feels like overdrive in the middle of an assault when that perk kicks in. Titans and hunters won't understand.

5 RepliesYou obviously aren't using the same Tlaloc as everyone else I guess... Mida is crying in the corner whenever it sees Tlaloc. Tlaloc is amazing, perfect accuracy and a lovely fire rate with higher impact compared to other similar stat scouts, the mag size is great too and it looks beautiful, it's a warlock weapon, tailored for Sunsingers who bank their super for crisis times

3 RepliesI don't get hype. I tried it and it's really not very good and I don't personally think it even has an exotic perk. Even infused it hoping that the damage would be higher but it's still crap at 297. Maybe it's good in PVP, but it's just like the kinetic damage year 1 weapons. Pointless in PVE. The only reason it's somewhat relevant to people right now is because there are no elemental primaries. As soon as those are available, this gun will be vaulted.
