Tlaloc isnt as good as you think it is in PVP
THIS IS ABOUT PVP, I GET THAT ITS GOOD IN PVE
I am just going to put this out there
Tlaloc sucks guys.
TLDR: It's less good than Mida was before 2.0, and mida now. Mida was never T1 (might be now) therefore the gun is a solid T2 gun. Comparative to other [u]Y2[/u] scouts it's probably the best pvp scout, equal to Hung Jury with good rolls. However my main issue is that it pales in comparison to Mida.
It relys on having a super to be worse Mida, stat wise, it is only worse than my Suros Dis.
In pvp it is clearly meant to be a Mida archetype, but the gun is far worse than the mida. The Mida gives speed bonus and hair trigger at all times, and Tlaloc only has equal fire rate and handling with your super. Even then it doesnt handle nearly as well.
I was super hyped for this gun, but it let me down. It's not complete garbage, and does do well in pvp. It does 61 damage headshots and Mida does 55, so it still takes 4 headshots for a kill, but Mida does it faster, and lets you strafe better.
You can get a 2 headshot 2 bodyshot kill with Tlaloc, but 4 headhsots in a row with Mida is so easy though, because Mida has High Cal rounds with super high stagger as a hidden perk

I thought it did 63 on head shots. I still like it in pvp because I tend to hold on to my super for a bit too long, But you do have a good point about mida performing better

I had a 6 rapid kill streak with Tlaloc in my recent games. 1 more kill and I would have gotten a seventh column medal. Maybe git gud in pvp scrub?

Bar none. No comparison. It's not even a scout rifle, it's a -blam!-ing laser. It's borderline OP and I really wish you could experience it in the right hands because it's far and away one of the most fun guns in PvP right now.

1 ReplyI like that type of scout. Omolon scouts are smooth. Then when you roll sunsinger and your just insurance for if the worst were to spring on the team. You can rest comfortable with your super in your pocket and a super OP scout rifle. Like seriously with boosted rof it's time to kill is non-existent! It's a good gun even without being charged it earns its exotic slot once once boosted. Situational maybe, fun as hell though!

1 ReplyIt has a much higher impact than mida. So you get a high impact scout with decent perks without super, then when super is charged you have a high impact scout rifle with the fire rate of the mida, seems good to me

3 RepliesActually it has hair trigger and HCR when you have your super. Test it out on patrol and watch them stagger a lot. So it is basically mida with your super without the speediness.

If they buffed its stability then it'd be really goo. It does VoC damage (41 body 61 head) and with MIDA RoF with super.

Great gun for when you're saving your super. Kill time is almost non-existent when it's charged.
