Edit: Just to make this even more harsh:
There are 4 total compatibility packs to download. Have fun.
Edit 2: If you're moving slow or are stuck, try resetting it. It will start over, but it will move quicker. No guarantees, just what I've noticed.
You could also try again another day when everyone isn't trying to download it. Good luck, boys.

Left it sit overnight to finish and found that the 3rd one (I think) errored out. So I restarted it and went to work - I will see at tonight if it finished. I get that it is a big update, but you think they would have planned for this many people to download it at the same time, maybe do so load testing ..... wait what am I thinking this is bungie. Edit: I know it is not my connection I have 50+ Mbps connection

Wow that sucks l downloaded the update in under 45 min 100mb down 10 up

Guys if you don't know, on PS4 if you pause and un pause your download you will shorten your download time as it will allocate the data usage to make your download its main focus. For some odd reason not sure why its like that but yeah just keeep un pausing and pausing thhe download until it drops to around 50 minutes or so depending on where you're at in the download it could go from 2 hours to 20 minutes.

1 ReplyLook to all you people (on XBOX) that have like 10mbps download or lower . Go to network settings . Go to DNS settings . Change primary DNS to 8.8.8.8 and secondary to 8.8.4.4 . It's a google sever . Done the full update in an hour and I have trash Internet .

I'm in a hotel in Hawaii. I have a hot spot with 20gb of data for the month or the hotel's Lan line. If I use the hot spot I will use all of my data for the month, I can play October 3rd. If I use the Lan line I have another 21 hours of waiting but I can play Thursday night. I think I will wait for the Lan line.

3 Repliesgo into your network settings - advanced settings - dns setiings, primary code is 8.8.8.8 (use your bumpers to move boxes) n secondary is 8.8.4.4 This will connect to google servers & download will take about 1Hr with no issues

2 RepliesStill installing.. It installed perfectly fine on my main Xbox. On my other Xbox its just a mess. Active download list is empty and yet the game keeps saying: installing destiny. I have no idea what the [i]f[/i][i]uck[/i] is happening...
