I'd have no problem paying this price for the dlc content, however 40 is too steep. Not because of monetary reasons, but because it doesn't feel worth that price to me. Forum what should I do?

1 ReplyI only paid 20 for it. Account sharing ftw. (Only if its with someone you trust ofc.)
-
Rather buy the Phantom pain for 60.
-
Of course its not worth it , lol Bungie pulled off the biggest SCAM ever last year with Destiny Year 1 and now they back from vacation ready to do it again .. but if you never played Destiny and none of the DLC's only then is it worth $40 !
-
2 RepliesWait a few weeks to see what the forums think. Personally it looks like way more than enough content to me
-
Wait until it drops.
-
wait 2 weeks all content will be out and so will the reviews

Edited by Tomato Gravy: 8/31/2015 3:56:24 AMYou have 2 choices. Either pay the 40 & play it, or dont, & dont. Either way, no one cares.
-
How do you know if it doesn't feel worth it if we haven't even played it yet?

4 RepliesEdited by 1stLoner: 8/31/2015 6:33:45 AMThis comes from an ign article, is it false information? Because according to this its 20 if you have both dlc's already. I'm just asking, I've been seeing conflicting info on the forums.

1 ReplyYou also have the option of paying $20 extra to have the ability of unlocking year 2 Ghallyhorn right away. This will give you that special feeling of superiority over everyone in the Taken King.

I agree

6 RepliesThe lowest we can pay here in Australia is 70$ That's the cost of a new game here! Destiny is a cash whore milking machine I've already payed 70$ vanilla game PS3 80$ vanilla game ps4 35$ expansion pass for both dlc's 70$ if I want taken king That's 255$ on one game in a year... I was bored before the dark below dropped I will lurk on these forums and see what they do with destiny 2.

Wait a year

1 ReplyNo, what's really "steep" is while all your progress carries over apperantly the DLC you purchased and completed doesn't carry over to Xbox One or PS4 so now I have to pay 60 for Vanilla Destiny, TDB, THOW, and TTK.
-
I would buy it. I mean, considering that I spent 40$ on some dinner with my girlfriend the other day, with honestly mediocre food and a meal that only lasted for about an hour....id say 40$ worth of new story/cutscenes, quests, subclasses, crucible maps (8-9), strikes (3-4), remade strikes (3), new destination, new patrol, new raid, new gear/weapons and the leveling system, all added to one of my favorite games? Hell yea. It's do finery worth it for me. But it's your money. You do what you like with it. I think it's a worth..but that isn't true for everyone.

I spend 80 I bought the whole pack B)

-
5 RepliesDon't forget to pay the extra 20 for some shaders and dance animations...
-
1 ReplyWell in my opinion TTK has more and better content then TDB and HOW combined, so that alone makes it worth it to me. Everyones got there own opinions on this but this is just mine
-
It's 40. Guess you're not buying it then. Ah well let's get on with our lives. .
-
Or you could pay 40 and quit being a whiny baby

4 RepliesI have no problem paying 40 dollars. I've played year one destiny for over 800 hours and spent $100 on it. I've enjoyed almost all of those 800 hours so it goes without saying that I got my money's worth. With that said I understand your opinion and respect it. Value is measured differently by different people.

57 RepliesSo many losers defending the game and price. It's not worth 40$. Same bullshit content but with a raid this time, some exotics and other stuff that they cut to sell for dlc.
-
You payed $60 for destiny. It's 20 dollars less
-
30 - 40 isn't much. I'll get more enjoyment out of it than I would had I spent that money almost any other way. Just ask yourself if you will. How much does it mean to you? I would say it's almost a no brainer if you have a job and enjoy destiny. I would only hesitate if I didn't think I would play it or if i didn't have an income.
