Destiny 2 should be for PS3/X360 too! Here's why:
Destiny 2 should be for Old Gen too.
Here's why:
1: [b]Bungie will lose many players. Less players equals less money for Bungie. I don't think they would cut such a big money source. [/b]
2: [b]Graphics on old Gen looks amazing too. Haters gonna hate now. The different between PS3/PS4 is too little. I'm sure XBOX One Players will also love the graphics on XBOX 360. Why should we upgrade, when we are happy with the graphics?[/b]
3: [b]Many players like me won't upgrade their consoles. Why? Because of 2.) and because they are happy with their current console. Why should you pay over 300€ for only 1 game? There are still many games on oldGen. A new console would be non-sense. [/b]
4:[b]The new consoles need MUCH more energy. Why paying more for energy just for ONE game? You still can play on the old consoles. [/b]
5:[b]You don't need to have the best things everytime. You also don't buy a new phone just because it's "new" , if your old one is still perfect for you, right? Read 3.) again please.[/b]

I could post much more arguments for supporting oldGen. Finally we can say: OldGen is still good enough for the current gaming industry. Please... Read everything again. Do you see why Destiny 2 should be for oldGen too?

With some of this logic, I must demand that Bungie downgrade the graphics to suit my Nintendo 64, and also deliver the game with an online adapter so I can play online with it. It's just unfair that they stopped support for the console, it still has so much untapped potential. I'm a full time college student who puts in 60 hours a week over the summer at work to pay my bills for the year, I cannot afford an Xbox One or this newer fancy gaming equipment. [spoiler][b]satire[/b] excluding the point about a full time college student, that is true, however I was able to purchase an xbox one by managing my expenses throughout the summer so that I could reasonably purchase an Xbox One. [/spoiler]

One of the reasons this game is missing features that were intended to be in it is because they decided to make it for both -blam!-ing generation consoles! That's why the hive ships can't be destroyed. It would crash the frame rate of ps3/360. -blam!- losing out on quality (term used lightly) all over again because cheap bastards dont want to upgrade. Look, you can even get your old ass games from 360 on the one. Problem solved now upgrade!

Not much difference between PS3 and PS4 with graphics?!? Lol there's actually a pretty significant difference. I started Destiny on PS3 and upgraded around Christmas, and the difference was actually eye popping. It also doesn't take 5 minutes for me to pop a heavy in battle

Why do you think there is a new generation..? Is because the hardware is outdated and the devs are wanting to move on. The technology is about a decade old. Using your phone example, if you had a phone from 2005... Don't you think it'll be time to upgrade it after its 10 years old? And now a gaming example; Battlefield 4 on next gen can hold 64 players in one map. Last gen can only hold 24 and cut the map down to a smaller size. Why? Because the system cant handle the pressure. Join next gen if you want more games. Its not like the only game to be released is destiny and destiny 2. Don't sell your old console if you really want to keep it. Logic. But its time for all devs to split with the last gen console.

And last gen does hold everything back. You guys eat up server space and memory. Not to mention that developers now have to spend time and money making a downgraded version for you. Money that can be invested in one good game for next gen. You wonder why there are frame rate caps, because of last gen, you wonder why some features are done away with, because of last gen. They would rather make one game then two so they make a shit version for everybody. You're stupid and ignorant if you think your cheap ass doesn't hold everybody back, in fact last gen holds the industry back. Get a job, save some money and join the rest of the world or dont and live in the dark.

You're high. As an Xbox one player I cannot stand going back on my 360 (which as a matter of fact I started Destiny on) cause the graphics are so shitty. The load times take forever and the game looks so laggy. It's been a year and a half since next gen (current gen now) came out. If you saved a dollar a day you could have bought a current gen console by now.

So the problem is graphics? Then why are games like PlanetSide and Smite only on Xone and PS4 (and PC) if they just need a graphical downgrade? Also, isn't the whole reason we don't have alot more vault space specifically due to last gen hardware being unable to handle it? Btw I still have my 360 but unfortunately the majority of new content will be on current gen in the near future as much as I hate it, it just makes sense.
