Can we still glitch the Iron Banner rank at 10am?
I'm just wondering if "we" as a community can still glitch it or not even though they are starting it late?
I have never done the glitch.. I have one char with every piece of IB gear... I've played every IB...

I checked destiny tracker 5 minutes ago and my rank still hasn't reset, so I assume it will only reset at the time they release it. You can probably do it at 10Am pst. People have been saying they out it later so that no one would glitch it, but the way I see it, that would mean it resets every week? Which it doesn't. Destiny tracker is usually pretty accurate, you can check yours to see as well, let me know if I've gone wrong somewhere

I'm going to assume you're set to IB rank 0 already. But that's just my theory so don't quote me on that unless I'm right =) Edit: I forgot to mention that the IB rank was there before IB started, not just during IB week.

You probably can if you feel like staying online in orbit for 8 hrs without going idle (like tape down your controller button or something). Or you can just play IB and get rank 4 (for the helmet) just because it's fun.

I love the false outrage you guys sound like a bunch of feminists. Doing the glitch involves you doing it legit the time before. And if you'll want to do it the next time around, you'll need to rank up legit again. Therefore it's not really a glitch. To me it's more of an increased incentive to play IB. And you need to have your glimmer maxed in order to be able to purchase no more than 2 pieces of gear/weapons. Also don't blame those glitching for taking advantage of a game mechanic. Blame bungie for having to delay it 8 hours because they couldn't fix this so called glitch otherwise. Anyone who exhibits this false outrage against people playing the game as they wanted is really just mad they never got to take advantage of this "glitch".

Here's a crazy far out idea, hows about you actually play the game instead of being concerned with glitching. I'd love it if Bungie could track every player that glitched IB and temp ban them for 2 weeks, so much scope for salty tears.....

Sure would be simple for them to scan inventory and IB rank after an hour. If someone has the helm yet hasn't even played an IB match, well they'd know it's safe to perma ban them. If they wanted to that is.

1 ReplyI think it needed to run at reset for the glitch to work. You can try but I don't think it'll work as reset was hours ago. Why do you think they delayed it by a week? They were probably testing the glitch out.

If you had logged in prior to 2am PST and then went to the tower a few minutes after 2 am PST then kept your character active in the tower for 8 more hours without your connection dropping or being kicked from the tower or game, you could have done it.
