If you use the truth to take down crota, you're booted.
As simple as that. The raid has been out long enough for you to acquire gjallahorn or hunger of crota. No reason to be using such an outdated launcher.

A lot of the time, the wolfpack rounds are wasted because everyone else just fired a rocket as well, I keep seeing 'immune' on crota because of the wp rounds.

The fact that you can't take down Crota without a gjallarhorn is embarrassing to say the least. Maybe the fact that people don't yet have gjallarhorn isn't the problem, it is your sheer lack of skill. And besides, two gjallarhorn shots takes down normal Crota, why need more than one? At least truth is an exotic and still does quite a bit of damage. I have a friend who is a day one player and has 1500+ hours into this game, and no gjallarhorn. He has watched me, with 570 hours now, get 2 from normal atheon. He still does fine without the gun. People don't need this gun to succeed and anyone who says so is completely and utterly wrong, and should probably rethink their life as they are only going down hill.

If a team can take down the ENTIRE raid with nothing but Necrochasms, players certainly don't need Gjallarhorn or HoC to beat Crota. Crota kneels from NLB for goodness sake. Good luck finding a team that doesn't need those crutches, Prison of Elders won't be kind to you.
