The sword runner that kills Crota should be rewarded
Why is it that if you are the player that kills crota with the sword you do not get a special emblem or shader for doing so. That role is not easily done and honestly can only be preformed by a select few. Reward us please. Destiny seems to reward noobs more for background fighting rather then the hardcores that know the game in and out. It will give gjallahorn to a fresh level 27 first nightfall but make me wait three to four months before giving me mine. Not complaining that i have one just dont think the reward system is fine tuned. Hence the crucible reward system

While we're at it; why don't we give something special to those who run the relic in VoG? Or those who finish the gorgon maze first in every group (obviously they are the ones leading the others lol). Or every warlock when they self-res while everybody is dead? Something for every titan bubble popped? Heck. Give everybody a shader if they can hit an enemy with precision damage. Though in all seriousness... No.

There actually is an emblem and shader for swordbearer. It's REALLY rare and currently 1 guardian has it... Smoogypluto! Lol

Reminds me of a hockey goalie. Shuts the team out facing a paltry 15 shots. Credit doesn't go to the defense as much as it should. But then he can stand on his head and stop 40+ shots and lose the game 1-0.

6 RepliesThe raids are a co-operative test of your teams skills. CO-OPERATIVE! This means you work TOGETHER to kill crota. Without your TEAM, you wouldn't even have gotten past the adds. You're selfish, and don't deserve anything you have gotten from the raid. I hope you get nothing but shards from now on. Lol

I run the sword 99% of the time for my team, but I don't agree. Even though I agree that as the sword bearer, you're doing the hardest job, I don't think people should be rewarded differently. At the end of the day, it's a team based game. Rewards should be the same. Destiny doesn't reward noobs. Rewards are random. Anybody can get a Gjallarhorn. You just have to have decent luck. The Crucible reward system is not right. I agree with you, but not based on players at the bottom getting good rewards. I don't care about that. You should receive more rewards for completing a match. You get far more for playing in the strike playlist for an hour than you do in the Crucible for the same amount of time.
