Vex Mythoclaust attack Increase
Wtf? Like Fr if your gonna do that to a Raid gun how about you make every gun at 300 attack a single attack damage you made it 323, now you are defying your own games logics, you can't just increase one gun and leave all exotics to be 300, all guns that are really good should be the same as any other gun, you can't just make one gun from the 1st raid better than the rest of the raid guns especially the exotics stop trying to do stuff without the gamers giving you ideas your not that great anymore you need new people to feed you info, you don't know the issues of your own game so stop and ask, Deej make a post asking us what some issues are, If your really listening to us then do this to get our perspective of the game.

3 RepliesThe vex mythoclast is meant to be a trophy for completing the hardest content in the game to date. Almost every MMO style game has the same ideals. The weapon is meant to be more powerful than the rest because it's harder to obtain. Instead of saying bring the rest up to par, just get one yourself. I have 3, and have had one since day one that they unlocked hard mode. It's meant to be better in PvE, as It should be.

Umm... How exactly does raising the attack rating on the current trophy gun go against logic? What it did was allow them to raise its effectiveness in pve without making op in PvP. Which is exactly what everyone has been asking for for a while now.

This buffed the dmg to buff pve and not Pvp it was the only way to do that with out it drastically changing the Pvp side of the vex so stuf and learn to read their updates where they said this and stop crying

It's the raid exclusive exotic. It will be the same with the necrochasm.

Apparently when the dlc hits all exotics are to be upgradeable to 320 damage, however any raid exclusive exotics are the ultimate rewards, so they need to be just a tiny bit better, none of what i have said is fact so don't call me on it, its just what i am hearing from other players

The vex is the ultimate reward from the hardest content on the game. It rightfully deserves to be better than any other gun. Play any other rpg and a weapon you work the hardest for will be the strongest.

It's because you can only get the vex through hard raid. Every other exotic you can get from anywhere. The weapon is meant to be an hard raid trophy.

Well here's some constructive raid reasoning for you: The exotic raid weapon is intended to help with the following raid. In this case the vex is to help in the dark below. Now another point are you aware what attack power does. If you aren't all it does is allow you to do full base damage to higher level enemies. 323 = lvl 32 enemies, which are featured in the dark below hard mode raid. So let's put this all together, the vex mythoclast was created with the intention to help you fight your way through the dark belows hard raid. Yes this means all your lvl 300 weapons well do less damage now against the lvl 32 enemies. If you didn't notice the exotic raid weapon for the dark below is maxed at 341 so this means the lvl cap will again nice up to 34 for the following raid. Yeah I agree the lvl and damage mechanics in this game are a bit wonky but whatever it's working so far.

As far as I know...Atk rating doesnt affect base dmg. It determines the highest level monster you can hit without debuffs to your actual damage. Meaning the higher your atk rating the higher monsters you can go fight. Though, if your player level isnt there that will give u a debuff too. I could be wrong but i just figured that made the most sense

The 323 attack power solution was to address the underpowered pve performance of mythoclast (a trophy weapon) and overpowered pvp performance. These changes were done to make it viable once more. Before these changes most legendaries were significantly better performing.
