Bethesda? Let's just ignore skyrim's release and say their great...
Their game works, issues are bound to happen, people aren't perfect, but I can't say bungie a programmers suck because their game is very functional to begin with. It's not like they're building off of something before destiny, since destiny's the first of it's kind for bungie(EDIT: as a heavily online shared world, not in the fps aspect.)and their learning how to fully Handle it.
Unless you can look at the source code you can't say that programmer sucks. Especially when they've accomplished more then most others. Their good enough to make a fun game as big as destiny. I'm sure you can't say that about yourself, and neither can I.

Ahaha, AHAHAGAHAHAHAHAGA backwards flying dragons.
-
And you only talk about skyrim....
-
Well your only talking about destiny, despite bungie having other games as well. You prove my point exactly. Thank you for seeing one games not the worth of a programmer, despite how good both skyrim and destiny are (at least in my opinion)

Edited by Dyne999: 11/17/2014 10:22:38 PMHahaha bungie lost halo and 313 is making halo 5 just like destiny and its not even out and still looks better. Although you did not know that bungie always wanted to do a game like destiny. When they finally started they had a contract with activision which was a dumb ass move.

Edited by ShinraSOLDIER77: 11/17/2014 10:27:00 PMBungie willingly gave halo up, from what I've read. I agree with you halo 5 looks awesome, but I don't see how looks of a game correlates to whether a company's programmers are bad or not. Guess your done on that topic so I guess I'll bid you a farewell. Also, halo 5 too me seems like it's going to be like the other halos, there's a campaign and a multiplayer, maybe some other mode like firefight or something new, connected to a main menu. I enjoyed the fact that Destiny tried to do something different in the fps genre then what they're use too. It's something that I think works and just needs some improvements to make it into a masterpiece. But that's my two cents so ya. Anywho, have a nice day random guy on the internet I had a discussion with different opinions on what makes a good programmer until it went on to something else.

I dont think bungie did cause a lot of 313 is former bungie employees. Also graphics do help on making a game better just look at FF best cinematics in gaming history. Like i said this is bungie's final franchise.
-
And destiny is not something different, borderlands.
-
Edited by Dyne999: 11/17/2014 10:10:18 PMRemember bungie has only done halo and destiny so just like enix they will eventually fall and will need to do a merger.
-
And don't even talk about their old mac/pc games none of them where even good and did not make bungie money till they made halo. I know bungie and they do suck.
-
Marathon was actually very successful and was the only thing that convinced buyers a Mac could be a viable gaming platform.
-
Marathon is not frequently cited or well-known among the PC gaming community due to its predominantly Macintosh roots. Its first sequel, Marathon 2 was commercially-available for Windows 95, but did not have a sizable impact on PC gamers either.
-
Regardless, it was still a well built game with solid mechanics, a variety of weapons, and a fantastic narrative. It also paved the way for future games of its type. Not to mention the B.O.B.s!
-
Regardless..... just stop.
-
Oh I'm sorry, I thought this was an open forum, not your personal "Agree with everything I say without question" thread. My mistake, carry on.
-
You mad bro? Doom, and wolfenstien smashed marathon.
-
Nice archaic response there, 'bro'. No, not mad at all, you're just incapable of rational conversation when someone presents a point contrary to your own. So, I'll take your advice and stop because you're not that interesting enough of a person with whom to continue conversing. Also, before you look it up, "contrary" means opposite. Good talk, such as it was.
-
Hahaha nice once i said doom and wolfenstien you were done. Mac was shit and still is.
-
You mad bro? Doom, and wolfenstien smashed marathon.

Oni-the lack of intelligence on the part of the AI in some situations,[28] and the plot, which was occasionally criticized as underdeveloped.[29] The game's difficulty in combination with a lack of savepoints was sometimes cited as a negative.[30] Moreover, many fans felt cheated because the game did not deliver on all of its promises. Sounds the exact same except save points. Bungie only put time and effort into halo. But since most of bungies employees and original founder left they have sucked ass since.
-
What about the other companies i said, oh wait because they are better. Bungie has failed where broderlands became a great success.
