So did Jason Jones leave Bungie?
I've seen a couple articles but it seems like its mostly based on rumor. If he did leave, it certainly explains the inconsistencies with Destiny.
I'm hoping he didn't, as that would mean the Bungie I've come to love is pretty much gone. No more Marty, no more Jason, and Activision filling in those huge decisions.
I'm just worried about Bungie. And I'll always be a fan because of the friends and time that their games and community has given me. But I'm not sure about Destiny and its future.
Hoping things get better/fixed.

I hope not, but it would explain the Activision style of game destruction and community collapse we are seeing.

Bungie without Jason Jones is like mac donalds without big macs. It's possible, highly unlikely. Thus totally improbable. No, he is still at Bungie. He was there since the very beginning, he made Bungie. There is no Bungie without Jason Jones.

4 RepliesPretty sure the offical announcement of his leaving was back in late 2013. The rumor is that the game was gutted and essentially remade, undoing anything he had in place. Thus the garbage story and hardly half of the locations we were told about being in the final release.
