Public Announcement for All Non-Titan Players...
Being a dedicated Defender Titan, let me tell you... DON'T ENTER INTO OUR DISCO BUBBLES!
You've been warned!
If you see me in my Ward of Dawn... WITH my Mohawk helmet (Saint-14)... I strongly suggest you resist the urge to want and TRY to use your OP/Broken Shottie on me, even if I'm dancing right in front of you all the while capping your flag.
You should just stand there and wait it out... oh, no don't do that, because I may just pop out real quick and stick my magnetic nade to your face. On a second thought, just run away... just... run... away!
I only posted this, because my teammates and I have been amazed at how many players continue to try over, and over again to want to try their luck. As if the 5 other times I beat them down was a fluke. Now, I understand some players might have thought I was using a blessing of light Bubble, and maybe can see why they would try their luck. But after the first, maybe even the second try and getting smacked down while being blinded... it should be...yeah... "he is one of 'those' Titans", and then just stop trying.
Tip, the only things that can crash my dance party is a Titan-Striker or Warlock using their "Hurricane Katrina" Nova Bomb on my Bubble!
btw, this is all just friendly banter directed at other class players... especially you home wrecker Warlocks! ;-)

It makes no sense I have said this multiple times already cause its so damn frustrating. Even if the point your on is captured some guys just stay there while the other points are taken or being taken. Why do you people do this.

I know!! I knocked out 4 people in a row who decided to disrepect the bubble. Also dancing in the bubble is the best thing ever. My last iron banner game a dude was just watching me dance from outside it. He chose to disrepect the bubble and it did not end well for him. Defender titans for LIFE!!

I tried this once with my bladedancer and it worked. Killed the titan in his own bubble.

1 ReplyYesterday I had two friends who would alternate popping their ward of dawns on B flag. The two of them held the flag the entire game. It wasn't even remotely fair for the other team. It was hilarious to watch idiots run into it and catch two simultaneous Titan punches to the face.

Either they just concede that I now have their point, and I will dance on it... they rush in and try to challenge me to a duel, and lose... or I burn a super or two in order to kill me. To those saying Defender Super is UP (underpowered). It is the only super that can [i]make you[/i] use yours if you don't want to lose that control point. Every super beats it, but [b]only[/b] supers beat it. Yadig? People don't like it because it's not always an outright kill producer. That's not the point. I win pretty damn often, and it definitely has something to do with my ability to arbitrarily dominate a fight/area at will as well as waste the other team's time/supers. ~Ricochet

I kill titians in their bubbles all the time with my fragile little hunter. My warlock just eats up your bubble. My hunter looking not threatening slips right in and out before you even know your dead. It's like " Hi I'm just a lonely hunter looking for a place to get out of these wet cloths. Can I come in for a second?" Titians like"Ok but I've got my eye one you", Hunter walks in, walks right pass Titian, and back out the other side. Titian " I thought you wanted to come... OMG, HOW AM I DEAD AND WHY ARE YOU SQUATING ON MY FACE!?

One of my best kills was directed at a titan in a bubble. It was on First Light, and I was shooting a lvl 7 titan with my rifle. I think he was panicking. He was at low health when he activated it, and I ran in there really fast and punched his lights out.

I love being swift (invisible with Patience and time) and a full blown juggernaut (Defender) and the saint 14 is so funny to use in crucible. I am totally with you. Oh and if you have a fresh shield the Nova bomb will destroy it but not kill the inhabitants of the shield. I saved 3 teammates and ruined a warlock's day that day!

Gold gun breaks it in two shots then they can kill you I think they can just walk in and shoot you as well if they are quick. Blade dancer kills you in two hit so you gotta be quick with your shot gun smack and you can get them. Sunsingers make the mistake of trying to punch you out when they should just toss a solar nade in the middle they actually can destroy your sheild by spamming grenades at it aswell so be carefully about that I've only seen it happen once and I was really confused. And if you ward of dawn on top of somebody else well that's just a roll of the dice unless you take advantage of where the bubbles over lap its actually pretty epic when this happens. luckily I haven't came across some one with the same experience as me in the bubbles so I haven't lost yet :p. It's hard to believe sometimes that people are coming in to challenge you so alot of the time if its one person (usually striker titans) I walk out in hopes they utterly waste there super since you can't get hit by it through the barrier. 60% of the time they try to punch me to death XD. Same thing goes for void walkers.

It may blind me, but I don't have to see when I'm 6 inches from your face with a giant ball of space death. It is worth sacrificing myself to kill the 2-3 people huddled inside that think they are safe.

17 RepliesAlso warlocks could use the solar flare grenade around the edges of ur bubble forcing u outside, another possibility would be heavy ammo rocket launcher. The entire goal to ruin ur game would be to keep u from getting ur bubble often. Which would require players to force u out of it or sacrifice themselves with a rocket. Transition into the rocket as they enter so u don't see it coming causing u to be aggressive instead of defensive and shoot at the ground killing ur self but also u. Which would drop the bubble and keep u from gaining super enter through endless kills with ur bubble... So there are other possibilities, it just takes someone who plays more than CoD to understand that.. Until that day, u are right you will continue to do well with ur "disco bubble"

If people were to stop focusing on just attacking you. And instead focus soiling on the killing they would have more success.. The goal is to kill u not attack u, if u back an animal in a corner ur probably going to get screwed up(ur bubble is the corner) instead focus how just killing and force u into the open, much easier. Manipulate the situation as well show a trap and a purposeful mistake in it so u believe there is an opening for u to be aggressive in which I am in control of the chaos and u once again will lose. U get killed doesn't matter how, just matters that u die. Hopefully some Ppl will read this and we will start to see tactics of all sorts show up in pvp until then the people who use them will continue to rain victorious.

3 Repliesplease do keep using my titan the wrong way. The bubble is ment for pve and should stay that way. When ever I see little newb titans use it in pvp I just dance in front of them then Fist of Havoc them like a true titan. The force is not strong in you, it is not...

Sounds like you haven't met Invective yet. Youll stay in your lil bubble forever once you meet him. 4 instant shotty shells in your dome. Works 100% every time. Bye bubble. No super needed.

I have both helms, and personally I like the strike titan best for pvp, salvage defender class is great, but your helm won't help much as u said before against a striker class.. What would be really funny is another defender came up and used his bubble on urs cancelling them out that would be really funny:-)
