Warlocks are OP (Over Powered)
Yes, yes they are. They kill the Titan Ward of Dawn AND everyone inside, with 1 blast!??? I completely understand having a way to counter any special. I truly appreciate it. Every other class can enter the bubble and kill us, but when a Warlock shoots the bubble from a distance, destroys the bubble AND vaporizes EVERYONE inside, that is not a counter. My bubble was not countered, it was made utterly useless.Come on, let them step inside the Ward of Dawn and kill everyone, just like everybody else. I do not mind that the Bladedancers do that! The Ward of Dawn is NOT an offensive weapon, it is ok for it to be unbreakable. You can wait out its very limited duration or do what any other class does and run in and kill us all. My Defender is a wonderful class... unless I am fighting a Warlock, in which case I am useless.
Their overshield from "causing melee damage" is MUCH stronger than any other overshield I have experienced in the game. We hit a Warlock dead center with a rocket launcher and it did NOTHING, because he had just gotten his shield. On many other occasions, the Warlock has taken damage that would have been much more than lethal to any Titan and the overshield was still firmly in place. Let the overshield be comparable to any other overshield. That is all I am asking.
In Destiny, he who draws his special first wins. Titan Fist of Havoc strikes before Hunter Golden Gun= Fist of Havoc Wins. Warlock Nova Bomb before Titan Fist of Havoc = Nova Bomb wins. Hunter Blade Dancer strikes before Warlock Nova Bomb = Blade Dancer wins. HOWEVER, Titan Ward of Dawn activated before Warlock Nova Bomb/ Hunter Golden Gun = Nova Bomb/ Golden Gun wins. Does this seem a little odd to you? The Titan's Ward of Dawn is rendered utterly useless.

Nah I'm actually more upset with the Hunter class, since all they do is run around with that instant kill knife and golden gun...It's like, a Titan should be able to hold his own against a Hunter...but hey, to anyone who disagrees, I haven't used the Hunter class either so maybe I just need to try it out.

For your information, fist of novac can still kill warlock after we activated nova bomb, you just kill me in mid air afterwards.....

2 RepliesI'm glad that my nova bomb can kill the little cowards in that shield. It's so annoying when the camp in there. As a warlock when I spot a b*tch in that bubble shield I launch my super nova and just laugh about how they think they're safe. If anything that bubble shield is OP. it last like over a minute and that's retarded! So don't complain about how you're to much of a b*tch to step out into the battlefield and how the nova destroys your little camping tent.

Honestly dude, I think any class in the right hands can seem OP. Sometimes I just own people as a Warlock. Most of the time I get owned as a Warlock. Mainly because I am not consistently good at PVP. There are Hunters and Titans that I have seen play that might as well be one of the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse. And others that might as well be shark bait. It's hard to tell sometimes if it's a balance issue, or if your just getting outplayed.

Pls nerf Destiny it is to Op Btw Fist of Havic counters NovaBomb ;) Titan shield is the same like the Warlocks shield! Titan Bubble is what Element? Void!!! Nova Bomb is what Element? VOID!!! You need 2-3 Golden Gun shots to destroy the Bubble! Example: 2ppl are in the Bubble or 3ppl And a Gunslinger breaks your Bubble, what do you think who will win the Gunfight? I would say the ppl in the Bubble, because of their second shield! The Bubble is extrem good and strong If you use it the right way and at the perfect time. But fact is, If your Team is losing and the opponents have one super after another the Bubble get's useless. That is true! But it depends on the team strategy and the situation.

Agreed warlocks take so much more shit then other classes. So many instances where I delt damage that would have killed someone else twice and they still stand.

Titan shield works well but placement is more important. You always want somewhere to go before it pops. I have just lined up sniper headshots and pull the trigger when the titan comes out to shoot or the bubble pops.

Nova bomb is pretty good they can shoot it from a distance where as a titan has to get within range but whatever power through it

So, are you talking about voidwalker or sunsinger? You can't talk about Nova bomb and melee overshield as if one player can have both. Also, Nova bomb will not touch anyone inside the shield unless using shatter. Finally, you're vastly overestimating the durability of the sunsinger overshield. It will most definitely not take a rocket launch blast while still living, let alone having the shield.

9 RepliesNot okay to be invincible. With the blind buff, it would be far too op in control matches. However, golden gun should require 3 shots, and nova bomb should only drop it, not kill everyone inside.

8 RepliesQuit whining about classes being overpowered. I've tried them all and they're all the same. Each just requires slightly different skills. Hunters have to have really good aim and patience (golden gun, trip mine grenade), Titans need to think fast (shoulder charge, fist of havoc), and warlocks need to be strategic (self resurrects, magic abilities, nova bomb).

A blade dancer will go in there and slice everyone in your bubble up golden fun will shoot everyone and a Titan could use fist of havoc. Your not invincible with your bubble. Nor should you be. You just have to use the bubble the best you if can if any one comes in my bubble they're blinded and with armor of light they're screwed. People complain about the bubble people complain about everything. I feel the bubble is just fine.
