...what do you take?
You are sitting there, playing Skyrim, when suddenly there is a blinding flash and you are now standing in Riften. A person walks up to you and tells you that you must walk to Solitude to get home. The journey must be done entirely on foot, no horses, nor wagons allowed.
He opens a stall and offers you whatever you need to make it there. Keep in mind, YOU ARE NOT DRAGONBORN, repeat: YOU ARE NOT NOR WILL BE DRAGON BORN. You don't get magic, nor are you a different race. You are there, wearing whatever clothes you game in, and that's it.
It is the disk release for the 360. No mods allowed!
What do you take, and do you think you will make it?

1. Map 2. Cabbages, sweet rolls, stew 3. Bow and arrows 4. Hitch with others going in the same direction. 5. A quest marker for the dragonborn to escort me.

It's a good thing I play Skyrim in full-body Kevlar with an M249 and 3 boxes of ammo on my lap.
-
Don't worry, I've been training my Sneak my entire life for this! *Sneaks to Solitude*

Edited by DarkSpyda04: 3/29/2013 3:43:09 AMIt's alright I have survives the attack by jumpings into a pond. I guess I kinda figured I could leg it with just a sword and shield but it's more dangerous than I thought. Well at least the immediate threat is gone now. And if I can lose the bear, I might just be alright. Hope I don't run into any dragons though. All I have to hear is that gust of wind that makes you question if it was really a gust of wind and I know I'm screwed. Let's consult the map. Yes, if we head west towards this "Ivarstead" and then migrate towards Helgen I might just be able to make it.

Bow and arrow, a sword, leather armor, potions, ton of food, and warmer clothing.
-
Hookers and blow
-
Learn2alchemy and make a bunch of potions of stamina and healing. Sell some, make some light armor and weapons, then haul ass.
-
You'd wanna go well-rounded. Some food, because it'll take a while to walk that distance and will spend a lot of energy. A couple of invisibility potions in case anything goes wrong, along with a dagger. Some heavier clothes, plus shoes, since I game in an undershirt and shorts all the time. Then I'd wait for the Dragonborn to show up, ask him where he's going, and follow him until he made it around to Solitude. Because with bears, wolves, spiders, bandits, and dragons jumping out of the woodwork, you're not going to survive any other way.

I game baked and naked so I'd take a bunch of sweet rolls and mead for the road. Probably die horribly halfway thwre
-
1 ReplyI take absolutely nothing so I cannot be weighted down. It's time to haul ass to get there as quick as possible.
-
You're banning magic... -blam!- you charlie, I kill the inhabitants of all the cities I enter, becoming essentially a wall of death after grinding smithing and enchantment to 100 with daederic everything and 99 large health potions.
-
2 RepliesDaedric Armor, Dragonbone Warhammer, Shadowmere, Noleth or whatever his name is, and Farkas. Actually, I'd probably only need Farkas.
-
1 ReplyI'd travel north to Windhelm and take a boat to Solitude. I'd probably take a map, some regular clothes, food, and a crossbow and bolts.
-
5 Replies*takes my two knives out of my pocket* LET'S DO THIS SHIT! *sees a frostbite spider approach from the woods* ...NOPE NOPE NOPE. *runs like hell with underwear full of piss*
-
I find some people to go with me, then I let them do all of the fighting. I would hope I don't die, all I use in that game is magic.

Edited by Charlemagne: 3/29/2013 4:38:15 AMI would take the mountain pass to Riverwood and then make my way up from there since it is overall safer than having to go through the swamplands.
-
i fast travel to solitude.
-
Edited by Seggi: 3/29/2013 4:27:41 AMI'd probably stick around Riften and try to introduce the concepts of science to Tamriel. The science conducted in a world with actual gods would be really interesting.
-
You expect me to walk? Pffffft, I'd just stay in Riften and OD on skooma.
-
I'd get to Whiterun, and end up staying.
-
Potion of invisibility x20
-
*Uses duplication glitch and spawns a million melons to ride down the mountains* Weeeeee!
-
1. Level 32 Nightingale Boots for the 35 points of Muffle to better sneak past stuff 2. A ton of Invisibility Potions for the above reason 3. A map so I don't get lost 4. Wabbajack for teh lulz
