The best advice I was ever given is to just stay the hell out of pvp.... Cheating has always been a part of this mode, and it will always be.... It has only gotten worse, in my opinion... Bungie couldn't give a rats azz about how we feel, especially with the fact that with all the screaming and moaning, people keep buying and playing the game.... If you decide to leave a Trials match because you've realized you're teamed up with a cheater and don't want to get banned/ in trouble for doing so you'll get a 30 min ban for leaving/ quitting but absolutely nothing happens to the cheat... Classic Bungie thinking....
