Nah, we shouldn't go back to the stone ages Unless you like static rolls like Snapshot sights , on double primaries And I don't know if you know it or not, you are not the only one playing this game, you don't get to decide what is "Free" I am so glad Bungie stopped listening to people like you that try to dictate how everyone plays -
9 RepliesBungie lets stuff like this exist yet if you want to jump and shoot your gun that’s a big Nono. What a joke of a developer 😂 Another way they cater to bad, passive and slow players and they don’t allow skill to come out.

We are on hamster wheel where while will be always last as a pvp players, untill bungie makes it a priority. But untill then it will always be. DLC/ unbalance pvp. 3/4 seasons bungie some what ballance pvp and then. Bungie needs to sell there new item. Aka front of the wheel again. So your post might as well be priority on pvp pls bungie

I think target lock and Headseeker are fine. Precision Instrument is borderline, but it has very few real use cases outside of Rapid Scouts. I’d just tweak it slightly. High Ground is 100% getting a nerf in PvP next episode…. It’s waaay too strong right now. Either reduce the damage or remove the timer bonus on high ground damage… idk Box breathing scouts probably need to be reigned in a bit too.

4 RepliesThey should look at their past and make it pick-ups. That's the only way to treat this mess.

9 RepliesGo play cod if u want all guns the same lol I laugh at people that complain like this take away all the perks u grind for if u have nothing to grind for in a game that revolves around grinding it will die faster then it is
-
1 ReplyTarget lock I don't see as a problem. Headseeker maybe a minor tweak. Box breathing is meh at best. High ground by what I see can use some adjustments. The other no comment....

17 RepliesSo why u using cold denial with zen and headseeker then get rid of it why did u buy it your part of the problem that u think there is

8 RepliesNo! What’s the point of playing a looter shooter, farming its loot only for those sweet god rolls to be useless in activities you want your best weapons for? It would mean there’s no need to farm for god rolls for PVP which would mean there is less need to play PVE. It goes against the replay-ability of the game.

1 ReplyBig agreed 👍

6 RepliesNo. You have the option of using them yourself. You choose not that’s on you. Their not rare or unobtainable perks to be using on a weapon. You have perks that are desirable on PvE just as much as you want (and need) perks designed for PvP. That’s why you run across them frequently in PvP. Logic.

2 RepliesBeen up a while and I see plenty of down votes

18 RepliesEdited by TractorCannonGuy: 11/6/2024 10:41:44 PMYes but only if we also remove free health buff exotics. So your wormhusk will have to go
-
1 ReplyI don’t think they should be removed or nerfed unless you mean they simply do not work in PvP which is fine but all weapons will need the same time to kill or entire archetypes will never see any play in crucible.
-
1 ReplyNearly every perk in this game is "free". They all reward playing the game as you normally would. High ground before rework encouraged you to go out of your way to activate it. Things like kill clip just require getting a kill for a free damage perk. Things like eye of the storm give you bonuses just for getting shot. Shields don't even need to be broken anymore to benefit from it. Opening shot gives extra range and accuracy just for existing.
-
Agree, though you will probably mostly get hate and downvotes with this. Majority of these perks - especially high ground - makes anything else obsolete.

21 RepliesHunters with knuckle head radar and high ground bygones are destroying the sandbox. They need to absolutely nerf hunters like they do warlocks and titans. Hunters always get a slap on the wrist when it comes to nerfs.

I think there should be an area for purists > no damage perks..exotics.. very low or no abilities.. no heavy super.. and a place for all the hoopla/magic.. and agree if that can't be done you gotta reign that stuff in and/or allow it to be amplified in certain/mayhem playlists. -
5 RepliesAre people just calling things free without giving context as to why they are now days?

10 RepliesThey should disable weapon perks in hardware and make it permanent. Then you fun vampires can finally have the crucible mode you really want.

Edited by Kiro - 13: 11/6/2024 7:43:33 AMTarget Lock & Headseeker no longer alters the TTK(alone), however it does alter the optimal TTK by 1 shot body on many weapon archtype in PvP(ie: from 6 crits required to 5crits 1 body). Every other perk you listed does adjust the base line TTK and might need a second look. For sure High Ground though, much like Speakers Sight there is far to many leavers allowing players to activate and abuse this perk.

2 RepliesTL has already been nerfed and at this point is fine. Box Breathing is kinda meh to begin with because of what it's on and how it's procced. Precision Instrument is fine IMO. At least requires some semblance of skill to proc. Headseeker could use a nerf, specifically on pulses. High Ground needs a nerf.
-
2 RepliesAgree with box breathing and high ground the rest are fine
-
Agree, damage perks need to go back to after a kill not during the kill.

7 RepliesEdited by DJ: 11/5/2024 10:43:02 PMGood day Guardian! I, personally, do not feel that any of those perks are "free", and hardly need to be nerf and/or removed from the PvP Playlist. Box Breathing = One shot with bonus precision damage only Precision Instrument = Increases precision damage only; requires beforehand hits to proc perk; a single miss resets the entire perk Target Lock = Requires over 12% of the magazine to register hits before the perk even procs; a single miss resets the entire perk Headseeker = Requires a body shot first to then proc the perk for less than one second that increases precision damage only High Ground = Requires a player to be higher than the player they're engaging with, which can (potentially) put the player attempting to proc High Ground at a disadvantage because they're more exposed; if the player is at level, or lower than, the player they're engaging with, then High Ground is equal to Rampage

1 ReplyWell tbf for target lock they already did
