Hang on a sec. There’s now a committed full time PvP department and they (checks notes) believes letting me have 6 shots of fusion rifle per round in Trials is a good idea.
Errrrrr ok. Anyone see a problem here? People? Small issue? No?
We’ve gone from special/ability cheese to close to balanced to absolute special ammo bonanza. Somethings not adding up.
I think I’m liked it better when they just neglected PvP. Go back to treating us like mushrooms please.

The PvP team just has room temperature IQ.
-
People still play pvp ? lol
-
Common sense is non-existent over there, nothing new.
-
It was never “balanced”. Never will be
-
The one thing it does on that map is stop you from getting sniped in the face as soon as the round starts. So far it does seem like an advantage for the better coordinated team though. But its blackout and options are somewhat more limited for some people. Its also a map that good players tend to play on for "leisure."

Special ammo crates are too plentiful and give too much special. You can run double special now with forerunner and a fusion. Ridiculous.
-
Do people actually believe there is a PvP strike team?🤣🤣🤣
-
Rather have this then everyone holding hands in the back of the map lol.

sadly this is what this non primary user forum asked, that's why bungie should never use forum feedback

They’re experimenting with different quantities of special.
The first week of Trials, we will be running what we refer to as the "unrestricted" Special ammo crate system, where all four ammo crates spawn every round (one by each team's initial spawn and two in neutral locations), and players who have Special ammo will drop it on death when they are killed. We will use this to draw a baseline for an upper limit of Special ammo in the Trials environment. The second week, we will be moving to a "restricted" version of ammo crates, where only two crates spawn each round (the ones by each team's initial spawn). While players will still lose Special ammo on death, they will not drop Special ammo bricks. This variant will end up with Special ammo availability being between the current ammo meter system values and the previous respawn values. During these first two weeks, we will gather a substantial amount of data and feedback on how both amounts feel and play, to inform future tuning of the Special ammo systems for Trials. The plan is to return to the current version of the ammo meter system in the third week of Trials, until we can further tune the values.
https://www.bungie.net/7/en/News/Article/this-week-in-destiny-04-04-24

Edited by ForeverLaxx: 4/13/2024 6:22:58 AMPersonally, I just find humor in Bungie creating yet another "PvP focused team." They go through cycles of this where they dedicate a team's development in this area and then cut them off a few months later, just to bring them back as a different group when everything catches fire again.

I completely agree with you dawg how I don’t think jobs should be lost but I think some thing could definitely use work I ran into 2 full blown cheater yesterday night they were phasing though wall and traveling at the speed of light but they’re accounts are still active

Pvp strike team is a joke. They all need to be cut. So much money wasted.
