Passage of Persistence is too difficult
Compare it to a GM. GMs maybe take an hour tops for a bad team to clear for an adept. I have been on the same card all weekend and haven't gotten beyond 2 wins. I'm not a sweat at all, but it should be 7 wins total for the adept. Idgaf about flawless, I just want the weapons and this is not at all comparable to any other adept weapon farms.

Should be flawless for an adept, but Bungie is throwing a bone to players willing to put in the time, maybe players taking this card on, should take this as an opportunity to get better at 3v3 pvp and politely accept their participation weapon and be thankful.

A bad team wouldnt be aple to finish a gm, theyll die over and over and they’ll have to reset everytime. You need to be at least average to finish a gm, same thing as in trials.

There’s a 45 minute time limit on GM’s

Youre already getting your handout, you still need to work for it like everyone else but yours is gaurenteed per card if you actually play properly and use weapons that are strong for the map

The passage of persistence is like Tribute Trials. You do have to at least follow the lead of your teammates if you're only in it for the weapon though.

15 RepliesPersistence is fine where it is, it takes a long time to get it done (as per the name) and there is only one per weekend but its worth it for those of us who can't reliably hit the Lighthouse. Ferocity is a great card if you can piece together at least 4 wins occasionally, which led me to my first Lighthouse visit ever on Saturday. And if a 0.5 like me can do it, just about anyone can.

Edited by Chancey: 4/2/2024 4:25:13 PMIt's a grind for sure but it's also nice that you can get non-adept weapon drops on wins and you rack up Trials rep/engrams while trying to climb to 7 wins. So you're not completely wasting your time unless you already have god rolls of everything. I kind of wish you could keep Persistence after you get the 7 wins and farm adepts but I know that is being too generous.

The problem with that is if it did it based at least somewhat on performance it would just empty the playlist of players. That's not the point of the passage.
