By extention this western ornament for ophidian aspect looks too damn good to not be used.
People will say "its a pvp exotic", but that doesn't matter... just make it not. SO many Tex guns and this Ophidian aspect is just... It reloads good.

Unnerf dmt totally… it’s ok for m amd k to have one good gun

33 RepliesThe last word is the only of those guns that isn’t useful in pve and it was expressly made as a pvp gun. DMT is still the best scout in my opinion for high level activities.

1 ReplyEdited by neonsox42: 8/15/2023 3:37:22 PMDMT was great in GMs before they nerfed the PvE damage bonus of its exotic perk. It was Anti-Barrier scout and it shredded. It still does ok now, but it’s not super flashy or anything since you’re mostly going to be ads. Huckleberry is underrated. Gets the exotic 40% bonus and the kinetic bonus. Plus OG rampage shreds. It’s solid for red-bars, range being the only real issue. I’d love a PvE centric TLW catalyst though

Dmt is great for Gms??

Proposed buff for DMT - when you reach Cranial Spike x5, the weapon is automatically reloaded. The damage nerfs suck, but the biggest problem it faces in PvE is that you get so little uptime at the higher RoF because of how often you need to reload - Subsistence or FTTC are almost necessary, but that means giving up Vorpal. It will be very interesting to see what perks it gets in the refresh next season.

23 RepliesDragon's Shadow One of the most underrated exotics for PvE. It improves any weapon...

DMT used to be pretty decent in GMs if you had the right roll and champion mods. Their main crux is their lack of automatic reloading which really takes down the amount of damage you are outputting. Plus ya know bungie pooped all over DMT on more than one occasion so it’s not anywhere near what it used to be.

Personally, I feel that Huckleberry and DMT are both very viable in PvE, including endgame content. The Last Word; however, is a PvP-centric weapon, so I don't know if Bungie will ever make it viable in PvE.

Huckleberry is underrated
