Worst. Exotic Mission. Ever.

Cant be bothered even attempting it. Yet another Bungie cut and paste of something we have all seen so many times before. Boring RNG fishing. Oh look, you need a buff to damage an enemy .. Never saw that before. It's timed. How original. Bullet sponge bosses .. Really ??, what an original piece of game design. The only entertainment this game provides now is watching the same names on EVERY SINGLE THREAD in these forums defending Bungie by attempting to ridicule other people making valid points. And then crying when people do the same to them. Bungie could drop anything and they would praise it to the heavens like a starving man being offered a slice of bread. Boring.

It’s worse than spitting in our face. The level of value for money this year is outrageous. Insulting. No wonder Bungie spread the conqueror title all along the season, there wouldn’t be anyone left here but some scrubby pvp player who can’t get kills on valorant, r6, or even stuff like Fortnite.

5 RepliesDid a quick solo attempt yesterday to get a feel for the mechanics and realized I would need a team. Joined a micless LFG today and got it done on the first attempt (albeit with just a little over a minute remaining). I really appreciate the fact that the Minotaurs spawn in the central room of the boss fight if you don’t take him down after two waves. It was a decent challenge given the time restrains but definitely nothing insurmountable as long as people know what they’re doing, have good DPS and can keep from dying during the boss encounter. As a side note for those saying they’ll wait for the weapon to drop in the Monument to Lost Light… With the Exotic Mission Rotator on the way, it’s [i]possible[/i] that instead of being available at the kiosk that they may just remove the Deep Dive component and place the actual mission part within the rotator come Final Shape. But we’ll have to wait to see what they decide to do there. (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)

They are more worried about MARATHON then destiny people it sad as we gave them the money to do MARATHON but they turned there back on us should say something dont buy the dam game people

well i have only been coming back on tue's reset to fish the exotic fish so has to run the exotic quest but from what i have seen they can keep it back to cod and diablo pmsl

It's basically the old spindle quest from d1 with extra steps. That's not a good thing. Don't know why they are trying so hard to kill their game, but servers collapsing into molten slag, the game not being fun, stating that they intend only the hardest possible content to be rewarding, awful story telling, selling an expansion that promises answers at last and guess what, the answers all have to be bought individually apart from the expansion, and then an awful not fun exotic quest that's only managed to create more derision inside their community. I hope to -blam!- that bungle isn't betting on marathon saving their -blam!- because heaven knows I'm not buying that hot wet garbage and I don't know a single person who's even interested in giving it a chance. Literally. Not one single person of all the destiny players I know is even interested in trying marathon. If they think that's going to pull their butt flesh out of the fire, I think they are going to be disapointed and then find out how it feels when the community that they drove and whipped into being as toxic as possible all point and laugh as they go bankrupt. Maybe they're like the videogame version of "The Producers"

6 RepliesI have a couple of issues with this, and most of the exotic quests, it that they start out being easy for everybody. Which gets average players working on the quest. Only to end the quest with an activity that is challenging for top tier players and next to impossible for the average player. Next, I read a lot of posts about how “easy” this one is yet ALL LFG’s are requiring people with a specific raid weapon (divinity). If it is so “easy” why require top tier weapons? Lastly, most of the YouTube posts I have seen about this weapon have placed it in the “meh” category and several have placed it in the “going to just vault” category. As a caveat, most of these posters were looking for a meta pvp weapon. Finally, if it is not targeted for pvp and is thus targeted for pve, why not make it easily accessible to ALL skill levels.

1 ReplyStop complaining it’s been solo Im far from a bungie boot licker, just can’t stand then endless complaining of dumb ppl saying stuff like it’s to hard. And these are the some ppl who have 20 resilience rock double primary and use 3 well warlocks because they can’t stay alive. The game is not hard. And if ppl keep complaining the nxt exotic is gonna be yet again in the season pass. Instead of a mission. If destiny and bungie is teaching me a lesson is that we should be greatful for what we get. The content we are getting is less and less. Bungie is just gonna see these comments and think oke how to monetize this better nxt time. You know what will make the nxt exotic linked to a festival of the lost or solstitis behind the 10 dollar play card event. And the grind will be lengthy but not hard. That’s why i said stop complaining it’s not hard it’s a rpg/mmo learn the meta and compleet it

All you need a Bonk Hammer Titan and For tracer Sidearm.. It was done solo with out even using a heavy weapon (used sword just for the traversal speed) So I figure if three Foetracer s being used it would be pretty easy.

I think the only reason we didnt get it was because the started it before i could rally. I had just swapped from my retrofit to tractor cannon so i only had 7 shots. Using silkrunner the super was hitting for 49k per hit. I cant remember if this was with tractor or not. But no heavy on my part, no dps (started using graviton lance because gyrfalcon) we still nearly managed to kill him. Its not as bad as your making it out to be.
