Ghost Mods Not Dropping
Ghost mods just aren't dropping.
It's an issue that is plaguing a lot of new/returning players such as myself. I've seen various myths and conditions floating around online - I've fulfilled them all but still nothing has dropped. I've clocked a total of 77 hours since returning this season and have yet to see a [b]single[/b] ghost mod drop.
It's only start to become a real problem now as I'm unable to reliably farm high stat gear, and my progression through content has been halted until this issue is resolved. To be honest there's no need to lock ghost mods behind random drops in the first place.
A less intrusive annoyance of this situation is that I have been stuck with +10% exp instead of +12% - this is way less harmful to the game, the main thing that needs fixing ASAP are the armourer mods.
EDIT: Didn't even realise it was an issue but apparently weapon mods exist too. It seems that we new/returning players also have access to a whopping zero weapon mods, adding to the frustration.

BUMP Returning player and I have mods in the collection screen but not available to equip. It's Jan 2024 now, was there ever a fix?

Yeah same issue here, ive recently bought all the expansions and dungeons and put in over 60hrs in the past 2 weeks and still no mods for either weapon (target adjust, counter balance) and ghost armorer (resil, mobility, recov) and still no drops, very disappointing

#BumpForFix This bug is so frustrating, such a turn off for new or returning players. They really need fix this or just make everything available to everyone like they did for armor mods.

#BumpForFix I love playing trials against people with triple 100s while I'm sat barley able to make one 100 stat because I cant focus any armor. Please hotfix so new and returning players can play the game correctly.

This has gotten to the point of ridiculousness. The same copy paste from bungie over and over with no update on the progress of this issue. I'm actually upset I spent $100 on this game for the expansions. This whole ordeal has left a horrible taste in my mouth.

New player here and dont have the mods. I been playing with my friend who has them and he gets way better stats for builds then i do and ive been playing more then him the past 2 weeks. But im done now no point in wasting time with way more rng then others have to deal with. This should have been fixed with the hotfix

Same issue with me and missing my mods. There was an earlier help post similar to this with Bungie's reply that this was being investigated- and this was a day or two before this hotfix was dropped today. Extremely disappointed that this wasn't fixed since it's affecting such a large portion of the community and isn't treated as urgent or included in this hotfix.

How the -blam!- wasent this fixed? I'm a new player and neither me or my GF can target stats to our armor like the rest of the playerbase. I actually might just quit over this. I really enjoyed lightfall as my first d2 exp but this aint it cheif. Its a looter shooter and I cant even put toghether sets like the rest of the player base.

#BumpForFix Hopefully if we make even more posts and upvote the -blam!- out of them they'll fix it instead of twitch drops. This has been a known issue and makes playing the game unfun. By the time they fix it everyone will be miles ahead of us from being able to focus gear. This is wack.

And dont have the mods to min max the game like i should have. Pretty amazing they can have so many game breaking bugs at one time I wont be playing this game until this bug is fixed, depending on how long it takes to fix this bug i probably wont spend another dollar on this game

I was threatened with permanent action to my account for making a ticket about the missing ghost mods. I am sitting on over 85 engrams ave waiting for it to be fixed but the large majority of our clan that returned for lightfall is becoming increasingly frustrated

Same problem. The two most game-breaking parts of this are the focus stat armorer mods on Ghost, as well as not have a single weapon mod. I physically can't equip boss spec on any weapon because it does not exist for me as an option. Bungie has added this to their list of known problems as of this week. But it doesn't appear to be in the patch notes for today. So that's another week of not being able to farm correct stat armor.

Friend of mine is missing his mods as well. I am a returning player and do have my mods. But, like others returning players, had their "Journey" level bypassed to 6. If I were to guess, the problem lies within how you handle the rewards for these Journey levels, Bungie.
