Comp Rift Tie: Why is this a loss for all players?
Title pretty much says it all.
Weird to lose Glory and streaks for a tie. Feels bad. Should be a wash.
I get the sentiment that if a Tie isn't winning then it's losing, but I'd rather just go into a sudden death overtime, or base a win on other factors like player performance during the match or something.

3 RepliesI tied twice in rift. Lost 50 points the first time and lost nothing the 2nd time which was during promotion (was still able to win next 2 games for promotion)

2 RepliesEdited by A_mo: 12/22/2022 3:26:33 PMUnless they changed it I think it depends on everyone's calculated skill. I've had ties where my rank score goes up and where it goes down. I definitely don't think it should go down a lot for a tie regardless of who you play. But that's one of those things where it could be made to look like your rank doesn't go down but in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter and the game still functions exactly the same. So if it were changed it should be part of larger changes that are consequential and not just cosmetic.

Should be based on performance as before comp launched bungie said you would lose/gain based on performance.
