Arc 3.0 why does it seem warlocks got left out

Hunters get a totally new super cool great for the hunters. Titans get a charged melee and overdhield while sprinting. Warlocks get a slide melee and the usual arc soul. Come on bungie you can do better than this stop leaving the space wizards behind.

    • They didn’t. By your logic hunters who had three variations of the same super since forsaken when warlocks got chaos are the ones who were left out for several years. Let’s think good and hard how many different super each class has now. Purely because I don’t want to look like an idiot let’s do a thought experiment. If hunters had one less different super before than both other class and got one new one isint everyone equal now? 1+1=2 I might entertain the big brain deduction of yours if by your exact logic you should be crying about titans just as much. Take the blinders off junior.

I fail to see what the issue is here.

        It’s probably because hunter arc only had one lackluster super, and arc titan was only used because cuirass is a very good exotic. Arclock had a lot going for it, most of it just needed a little boost which we got with 3.0. I don’t see it as warlocks being left out or other classes being favorites. I just see it as the other classes needing more changes than warlocks needed.

          So hunters in fact did get nothing because they lacked with a new super since 2018. Now they‘re equal in supers like warlocks and titans

            • Bungie hates Warlocks. Pretty simple. Every 3.0 subclass has been watered down. Warlocks have no identity outside of Well of Radiance.

            • It gets Outclassed all the time by other classes. Hunters can throw their staff, they can block your shots. Titans fly in the air killing all around them, they can slam killing all in the air around them still. Warlocks constantly getting out classed by other supers cause Bungie doesn't like Warlocks but forces you to play PvP . -blam!- PoS devs don't know how to or won't balance the three main classes evenly !! I keep looking hoping and waiting but they keep Shitting on Warlock Mains

              • Light 3.0 feels mediocre. Nothing really has a noticeable individual flavor anymore. Things have been ground down into a meat slush and reformed into bologna.

              • They weren't left behind, you were by putting limitations on what you can do with the class. The slide melee is strong in groups of two or more. With ionic trace spam, blind debuff, jolt debuff, you don't even need to use your weapons at all. Stop crying and play, look up Plunder on youtube for a build if you can't make your own. And the whole "feeling amplified" is a self inflicted misconception. Amplified is the state you're in to apply debuffs and chains. I don't need to feel sh!t I need to spam abilities and repeat the cycle. Simple as that. You guys placed the barriers on yourselves not Bungie.

                As a Titan, I'd like to be able to use my melee without having to run half a mile or have my enemies 50 feet away with any element.

              • Hunters got a new Super because previously, all three branches in Arc 2.0 were essentially the same exact super. Warlocks and Titans both got a new melee ability. And yes, Titans get an Aspect for an overshield on sprint, but Warlocks got an Aspect to spam Ionic Traces and therefore spam abilities, as Warlocks are made to do. So I guess what I’m saying is… what’s your point?

                It needs just a bit more added to make it feel like an actual rework. Jolt on Chaos Reach. Replace Ionic Blink with Lightning Surge when you have the Aspect equipped during Stormtrance. Larger radius and/or longer duration on the lightning strikes when using Lightning Surge while Amplified. Have Electrostatic Mind give you a bit of of health when picking up an Ionic Trace, or have picking up additional Ionic Traces while Amplified grant Jolt to your Arc Weapons for a short amount of time (about 5-7 seconds).

                • Arc is amazing? Constant arc souls, ability spam, chaos reach, all good if you play it right, thunderous retort, jolt and tractor cannon melts bosses, a chaos reach can bring sepiks to his 1st immune state with jolt and tractor with ease

                      Have you tried the new electric slide boogaloo? Its fun to take down groups of team shooters, I find its best paired with a sidearm or smg for cleaning up afterward. Not so good in a 1v1 but workable with a solid precursor or follow up attack.

                      • Locks got even [i]better[/i] arc souls Locks got an absurd amount of ionic trace synergy, making them ability spamming beasts no matter what weapons you use. Have you tried using the new slide + felwinter's guile in pve? As the ability chains and gets kills, further chains do even more damage. A boss with adds around it will get absolutely melted in an instant without any setup needed. Locks may have missed the "just hold w" aspect of arc 3.0, but they dont need it. One rift turns any position into fort knoxx for as long as you want to hold it.

                            Despite Bungie forcing Void Warlocks into the dirt, the largest subclass played by Warlock players and Warlocks in fact have suffered during 3.0 this post will be downvoted to heckers by mad mad Hunters because for once Warlocks got an instant kill melee like them.....sometimes. Sometimes as long as there are multiple players huddled up you can get an instakill with the slide arc melee. For that Hunters will downvote and possibly report this post. Seethe. The Seethe is real.

                          • Our arc supers both suck. Chaos reach can’t kill a bubble without geomags, can be dodged by anyone with a movement/dodge/cover abillity, and takes ages to actaullly use it. Stormtrance deals good damage in crucible, but that’s kinda it. Landfall shockwave got nerfed, Ionic blink takes up a bunch of super energy for a shitty forward teleport that you can’t even manipulate all that much and can end up getting you killed more times than not, and the worst part is that there isn’t a way to use lightning surge during stormtrance.

                          • There was broadly the same pattern for all three Light 3.0s: It's lacked new, innovative, interesting elements with any power. It nerfed or didn't keep up with the current standards of powers in PvE or PvP. It democratized key aspects of each Subclass in a one-way fashion.
