Idk why I think it, but I can already see 1 super, 1 melee and no real additions.
I mean sure they could surprise me... But Arc Hunter needs the most added to it and for some reason I don't see it getting it.
Edit: Other than my typos lol, I truly hope warlock is awesome.. from a hunter main.

2 RepliesEdited by NeoReaper82: 6/10/2022 5:15:56 PMBecause your void & solar have been top tier. If the leaks are true(they were for solar) you'll be getting a new super for arc as all 3 arc staffs will be combined into 1. Hunters are now at a point where they whine before anything even happens.
-
8 RepliesWhat's the "thing" gonna be with Arc? Void has overshields, Solar has DoT... What's Arc gonna have?
-
There's a pill for that.
-
Looks at void and solar………..
-
Seeing how they ruined solar warlock...I too, am afraid to see what arc brings..
-
1 ReplyCough cough blade dancer cough cough (we can hope guys)
-
Wish they would get something similar to well and bubble. Titans and warlocks have protecting supers for their teammates. Like a huge whirlwind in front of the player when activated and a special amount of damage will be throw back to the shooting enemies.
-
17 RepliesSorry, poorly thought out 3.0 reworks are reserved for warlocks only. Worst of void and solar so far.....let's watch Bungie go 3 for 3
-
New super is being able to create a massive arc wave that you can ride and your weapon switches to a more powerful Thunderlord with unlimited ammo. Kills with the weapon extends super duration. Waaaa
-
1 ReplyI’m worried about Titan too. Arc is great right now for them, but I feel like they’re gonna make it bad. Time will tell.
-
32 RepliesI mean they managed to turn gunslinger from "literally no reason to use it over anything else anywhere" to "highest damage super in the game with seriously powerful buildcrafting potential for both pve and pvp" Quite frankly I think Arc needed less love than gunslinger needed, and gunslinger got that love. I just hope arcstrider gets the same.
-
1 ReplyCould, essentially, make a super that’s basically Synaptic Spear. Throw lightning, slam with it, blink/teleport.
-
Well they just nerfed the arc grenades that follow people AGAIN even though they suck and no one used them. That’s scary
-
When will people learn to expect trash and disappointment from bungie until they show otherwise?
-
2 RepliesYep. I bet they still won't add any kind of range alternative to the Super. They'll likely just make Whirlwind Guard the default version, with no buffs to the deflect, and no other variations. Arcstrider might lose its good perks, like Combat Flow, Combination Blow, and Battle Meditation. At the very least, I hope that Stormcaller won't get screwed over.
-
7 RepliesTheir only choice for them is to give us a flying ability with the arc staff...helicopter style.
-
Give us Bladedancer back with blink.
-
Honestly don't think they could make it weaker than it is now. I hope they tweak all/some of the subclass specific exotics though. If the aspects get half the care void/solar got it will be busted. No way lightning chains and thunderstorms ship underpowered. I anticipate nerfs of stasis proportions.so I guess I'm more worried about the viability 2-3 months after we get it. Also can't wait for riskrunner to reign supreme!

I’d expect hunters to get a new super variant to go along side Whirlwind Guard with Whirlwind Guard being baked into arc staff intrinsicly. For melees I’d expect either all 3 or just Combination Blow and a reworked Tempest Strike. Charged melee hits causing disorient might be a good fragment choice. I’d also expect Lightning Reflexes and Deadly Reach to be combined into a single aspect granting damage resist and melee lunge range while dodging and a faster dodge cooldown while sprinting. For returning aspect #2 I’d likely expect Lightning Weave + Ebb and Flow (middle tree neutrals) to be kept. Combat Meditation for increased ability regen might be reduced and put into a fragment like old Benevolent Dawn. Same thing with focused breathing. May also be deprecated. Pretty sure lethal current will be left behind. I’m expecting some of the grenades (skip, arcbolt, Storm) to be reworked in some capacity. Keyword Predictions: - Blind/Concussion (expecting they’ll combine them and depreciate 1 set or the other). - Chain Lightning (likely see warlock Arc Web be a fragment to kickstart similar to weakening void grenades - Electrified (see Ebb and Flow) - An overcharged state similar to pulsewave that grants larger benefits when critically wounded - Maybe: an amped state to boost melee damage - Ionic Trace (in a similar capacity to Stasis Shards)

Arc Staff is ok, but how cool would it be, if instead of an ARC staff in SUPER form, Hunters got two pairs of ARC nunchucks that could be thrown as projectiles, used as a melee & have the ability to block away projectiles? I'm a Titan main, but i'm all for seeing Hunters Bruce Lee smack the tomato soup off a Hive knight or kinderguardian with a pair of ARC nunchucks.

1 ReplyYh i have this feelin too, and as solar titan didn't get a new super I fear arc hunter won't get one either - Titan main
-
1 ReplyYep I agree, there is a reason you are worried, it's cause it needs a 2nd choice for the super not just a roaming arc staff with 3 variants, they need to combine those 3 and create a second option that needs to be ranged or support. Akin to every other subclass on any character in the game
-
I'm sure there will be some absurd way they will break skip grenades and shinobu
-
I’m worried about Titans. Striker has been my main since D2 dropped.
-
2 RepliesVoid and solar hunter both were viewed as weak when first released and are both very very strong subclasses so i think you will be ok. Also arc staff has never been balanced in pve its either been the best choice for damage with raiden flux or absolutely trash
-
True, like we don’t really have much variation. One arc staff super can do all three if they wanted. No need for two or even three separate ones.
