Matchmaking in IB is AWFUL
It's extremely bad when, as a not good pvp player, I'd rather play comp or Trials than IB or really any other game types.
Please fix matchmaking across the board, or at least do something about cheating in ALL playlists?
Edit: Or ... It could be the PlayStation players that seem laggy. Last few games, the laggers were all running ps and not xbox

1 ReplyMy usual ib complaints with the following new exceptions 1. The change to the mercy rule has been better 2/3 of the times. Ie matches that were blowouts 40-15 ended up being competitive by the time they got to 150…. However 1/3 of the time they became extended excruciating pub stomps 2. Thank you for removing the ability kill bounty that one was always obnoxious to complete on your 2/3 rd characters So complaints 1. Maps are stale and too small for 12 players 2. Spawns are atrocious in iron banner because the maps are small. You can easily spawn inside the same fists of havoc that just killed you with 0 chance to orient or defend yourself. There should be a longer delay on spawn or the mechanic should more rigidly not spawn you within 10 meters of any enemy 3. Backfilling mechanic feels terrible in every way 4 especially with the change to mercy rule. There should be a vote to forfeit option to end needless agony…. That should also exist in gambit

If you go outside of freelance without a team not sure what you expect. My only real complaint is the loot system. End of match drops just suck. The token system is rough. Feels like I pull the same 4 or 5 pieces and nothing I want.

1 ReplyI finished off the quest and cashed in the 4 IB pinnacles after about 15 games. That was enough IB for me this week based on the gameplay experience. Completed my Deadeye title in Momentum Control running around with a bow and trace rifle. Was blown away by the hunter tryhards in this game mode using invis, Last Word, & Fusions. Really? It’s momentum control you -blam!-.

Yeah MM is stupid. I’m no pro, but all of my opposition were absolute potatoes and whilst it’s fun for a bit, competitive matches are more fun.

4 RepliesPlaying iron banner and I noticed that when am getting shot at there’s no lag but as soon as I corner someone and start to kill them they start lagging… Yes!!! They are all PlayStation players. Also folks on PlayStation you do know there’s more guns than just hand cannons and shotguns 🤣 99% of PlayStation players in 6v6 modes run around with shotguns as primary weapons 🙈

It hasn't been as bad lately. I'm terrible at PVP but I got my KD above 1.0, got all the pinnacles on my Titan and Warlock and got my Vigilance Wing catalyst this weekend.

1 ReplyI've noticed the Playstation latency too. I play on Xbox, and before crossplay was a thing, everything was fine, or at least [i]better[/i] in terms of lag. I get it's a new system and they're still improving it, but come on. The PS latency isn't even hard to notice, it's so obvious. To the point of "ghost walking" into walls and tanking 14 rounds from DMT, killing you, THEN dying. I've noticed some latency from a few PC players, but it's mainly PS players that I've seen with it.

Let's just say that I came in second in a match with [b][u]TWO[/u][/b] kills. The other team was a six stack of Trials sweats. Only reason I didn't bail was that I was so close to resetting and had a 5-streak going. If [i]both[/i] of those hadn't been true, I'd have bailed.

Launching a group of 3 gets nothing but 6 stacks full clans and fankly it might be the reason ( if america is ever nuked ) that bungies hq will be the first to get nuked lmfao ( jokes people dont take it like a -blam!- ... I dont wish death on anyone at bungie .... Maybe a few ball kicks and a couple chemical sterilizations but let them live and suffer )
