Crest of alpha lupi is a hidden gem
This exotic needs some love I've been using it for a while & it's saved my -blam!- so many times in 1 shot scenarios & helps my teammates get their supers faster. Can be used in both pvp & pve. Can be used with any subclass. Definitely an exotic to main. No buffs needed for it at all maybe to add faster revives back but other than that it's truly an amazing exotic.

I ran a Master nightfall earlier and was thinking it could definitely be good idea due to the lack of healing. It used to be the only exotic I used on my titan in year 1 of d2

I've been rockin' Alpha Lupi since D2's week 1 and never take it off! Sets up so many clutch plays, especially the "injured pigeon" fake out where you pop out from behind the barrier with almost full-health and one-shot someone w/ your fusion rifle.

I am already planning my build for witch queen with it. That void overshield regen barricade will pair nicely with it! That exotic got me my flawless crown run!

Pair it with a stasis helmet with the stasis mod that gives more orbs when using your super and that’s even more orbs 😬

Still my favourite exotic..Barrier for healing pulse, more orbs after super.. But guirras of the falling star, now most used.. D1 used it for quick revives, and insurmountable skullfort was my healing back then.

I’ve mained Skullfort since the first month of D2 when it dropped for me. Aside from Mayhem or when strike subclass isn’t Arc, I never take it off.

2 RepliesYes it is a fantastic exotic armor piece. I think the reason more people don’t use it is because they are accustomed to 2 to 3 load outs. I’ve been talking up Synthoceps for ages because it pairs so well with middle tree Sunbreaker. But most of my fellow Titan mains will never take off Skullfort. Then Esoteric starts putting out melee only videos and now it’s all the rage. There are so many incredible builds you can make, especially with Path of the Burning Steps and Chysura Melo with heating up and mulitkill clip (seriously give that a try, melts harder than Vex when you get it going) but since people are set in their ways they never even try hidden gems like Alpha Lupi.

I used it a lot for solo LS when I created my Titan and still wasn't that great with playing that class. Why? It increased my survivability plus I'm used to getting that health bump from my wormcrown husk hunter.

1 ReplyI miss the Hunter variant from Destiny 1. I rarely took it off, and not just because it looked awesome. Wish they'd re-add it to Destiny 2.

1 ReplyI have a crown of tempest for my warlock that dropped with stasis affinity has a mod available that my super generates extra orbs of light so that's been pretty dope too
