Trials Loot System is Incredible
Not only can I focus drops, but I just got an Ascendant Shard and a Trials engram for winning a match on a 7 win flawless card.
Edit: Just got an Adept SMG, an Ascendant Shard, some prisms, and a Trials engram from one game on a flawless card at 7. My God. The loot is incredible. Not resetting is the way to go. Also, I hate shatterdive.

Edit: Someone asked below about the improvements so I figured I'd put the key improvements here as well:
1. You don't have to reset after a loss;
2. Winning a match with 7 wins on a card has a chance of dropping a Trials engram, an ascendant shard, and an adept weapon (adept can only drop if the card is flawless);
3. This means the better players stay at the end of the card, making earlier matches easier;
4. Matchmaking was added. Soloing to 7 wins is very possible. Soloing to flawless will be [i]very[/i] difficult;
5. You can target farm Trials gear at Saint using Trials engrams, even adepts if you've gone flawless that week; and
6. Reputation gain is based on round wins on a card, so everyone gets something no matter what. Reputation will eventually result in a Trials engram which can be focused.
All in all, everyone's time is respected and everyone can get a piece of the pie. This is a steamroll effect that will make more people play. And then more and more people get more and more loot. More and more may even go flawless. I absolutely love the changes Bungie.
Hopefully last edit: Just matched a solo that was one his lighthouse game. Figured that out as the match ended. So for you solo players, keep it up! It's possible.
But if you queue in, shoot with your teammates and don't quit out. Decided to duo queue and out of three games, the random left the match twice. On the one match where he stayed, he only did 100 damage the entire time. Try not to be that guy.

Always sounded to me like a toxic activity, full of elitists and intolerant people, which is something that I don't want to waste my time with. I'm a solo player, so tell me: with the recent changes Bungie made, is Trials more "friendly" for a solo player to try for the first time or it still is a skewed activity full of stack teams against matchmade teams of randoms (much like the rest of PvP)?

5 RepliesYeah but it's mostly the same stuff people already have there's no new weapons there's no new emblem there's no real incentive to reset your Legend trials rank because there's no reward other than a Ascendant Shard. Simply the trial change was pointless because it doesn't offer anything new once people have the armor they're not going to have any reason to play. That's the biggest problem with the endgame as a whole most of the content does not offer a good reward and there's no replayability that has always been a problem since 2017 just now it's getting worse

1 Replyit's still garbage for solos though so..congrats? played a stupid amount of games.. got all the ugly Warlock armor and the weapons.. all trash rolls even after doing focused ones.. I think I got maybe 2 prisms after matches. other than that, it's normal rep loot like Crucible/Strikes extremely overrated if you're playing solo you could do Master Nightfalls and get just as much materials and save yourself from Shatterdive spamming bots

i have a problme with my destiny 2 game it stuck at checking for update i"m playing on ps4 i"ve unistall & reinstalled the game for 3rd times now . but its not helping i also did a rebuilding a data base. clearing my save data and i also bought a physical CD of the game but its not helping. it all happend after the last update.plz help.what should i do?

16 RepliesAt [i] Heroic I[/i] I got 25 reputation points for a 5-0 Victory. So is it like 5 points per round won? If you're 0-5 you get nada? At Heroic and above getting engrams will be a chore for craphats like me. For the rest of the season! I'd reset my 7 wins in order to stop matching sweat stacks.

Great 👍 So there’s no excuse for Bungie, & this system implemented in Strikes, Iron Banner & Gambit (and regular PvP) Only the loot from them pools should ever drop on those modes, play more, perform better, rank up = better loot & reward drops They could also move the Nightfall weapons back to this system - guaranteed weapon drop in each nightfall, but with targeted loot perks

1 ReplyI got so many Reeds Regrets (approx 14 or so) and only got two rolls worth anything. I don't know how to feel about either one. 1. Hammer Forged/Enhanced Battery/Tripple Tap/ Headstone/Charge Time MW 2. Arrow Head Break/Enhanced Battery/Quick Draw/Vorpal Eeapon/Handling MW Neither is desired god roll, but I feel like they can boyh put in serious work. Can anyone chime in?

I mean I get not winning the match, but not even winning a round???? Many times I was dead before I could even get 1 burst off from my pulse???

Not only that but when your flawless and continue to play you are completely taken out of the regular playlist so you aren't gate keeping the lighthouse for anyone. You only match people with losses on their cards at win 7.

3 RepliesOn a side note if you’re absolutely terrible like me and only want the pinnacle, reset the card every win. I found it a lot easier because around 2 to 3 wins on a card started putting me against stacks. Win reset get the 7 needed for the pinnacle.
