I want to like GG, and now I have a bit less reason to. But I realize t hat making money on YouTube can be quite difficult. Passing up that opportunity does seem quite foolish. And yet, it's at the expense of the assumed honesty your viewers expect.

They release about five videos a day and each make over 200,000 views. They make a ton of money through the GG channel along with their individual channels. But although it's nice for them to make money, I'd rather it be for their own purpose and opinion.

Yeah. I suppose channels that can stand up on their own have less room to cater to outside companies.

5 Videos a day? I never remember that.

A week* And that's in a business week and some days they release multiple videos. They are stacked with money already so it's not like they should be as desperate.

Money is money man. Honestly it just seemed like they were being paid to play through the demo and list off some of the key advertisement points, if their compensation was dependent on them to be 100% positive the entire time, they wouldn't have laughed at the part where Ego beats down 3 necromorphs without using his weapons and such, nor would they have complained about how the workbenches weren't working immediately, nor would they have said that the lack of local co-op was stupid. At the end of the day, I was still entertained, and they still seemed honest.

They have a ton of fans who think that they are actually having fun during the game rather than their satire during a lot of it. Because they were held back then they couldn't actually be negative of the game, almost all those points you listed weren't emphasized by them and they always tried to justify whenever something didn't go right.
