No, I don’t need an explanation. Just wondering what other veterans would’ve actually done when they killed Oryx in Taken King. Would your character really not have taken the throne? I thought a lot of Guardians are corrupted by power lol

1 ReplyTaking an ascendant Throne isnt as simple as sitting in a chair. It's a concept that only Eris, Toland, and the Queen know how to manipulate and our Guardian only got as far as we did through guidance and intel from Eris.

5 RepliesThey never have explained the mechanics. The ones who killed Cayde got his power just by taking part in his demise and they gained his power. We did the same thing yet didn’t get Oryxs power. Makes me think it’s just bad writing.

2 RepliesI would have took the Mantle of the Taken King. Because having the power over the taken would have helped a lot during Rise of Iron, Red War, Curse of Osiris,Warmind,Forsaken,Shadow Keep, and Beyond light. Because I would have an army. [spoiler]uwu[/spoiler]
