WE constantly do repetative stuff, that is the whole fn game. From strikes, gambit, NF, raids, pvp, its always a repetition of what we did yesterday, last week, month, season, DLC. Is there a reason you have to go through the season stuff 2 or 3 times? or better, is there a good reason to take this one aspect of repetition out when everything else stays?

Not fair enough as every aspect of the game doesn't have to follow that same pattern. Also I don't play with all 3 characters for that reason. Grind is part of every game. This one though has a tendency of not making it worth the time spent.

It all depends on the amount of time you play. It is not a game you can get the most out of by playing a couple hours a week or month that is for sure. If that is what you are after you will have very hard time competing at higher level activities for sure or finding any weapons and armour that are typically necessary for Raids, Trials and GM NF or even Higher level NFs.. but, enjoy the game how you want to play it bud..

"Bud" seems sarcastic when used in these types of conversations. Hopefully that isn't the case. I agree with what you have to say for the most part. For the least part what the op ask is within reason given all the other content you have to rinse and repeat with. If that's how they wish to build the game and people choose to play then that's okay. I don't care much for it. I've place quite a bit of time into the game and think it's wild that they want you to grind so hard to get to grandmaster stats just to push the goal post every three months, but I digress. Thank you for your time.

was not meant to be offensive, trust me.. if i'm going to be offensive I don't hold back. What I find interesting, and again, not trying to beat you up hear at all. You say you have played alot of hours in the game.. Looking at your play time you are top 34% with your playtime.. which would show a pretty hefty investment.. yet. you have about 480 hours in the game over 3.5 years. Thats 137 hours a year. 11.5 hours a month or roughly close to 3 hours a week. I can't imagine getting anywhere playing that little and yet you are in the top half of the amount played in this game. I play 3 hours a night and sometime 12 on a weekend.. not all the time but, I also have about 4000 hours. There is just no way I could ever imagine only putting your kind of time in and getting anywhere. Bungie def needs to look at the content loop. We have casual players putting in few hours and people wonder why pvp sucks.. there really is few people playing.. analyzing the data really shows this. Players playing a little and having lots of them doesn't make a healthy game.. as we are currently seeing.

Alright sure. I appreciate you did the math. My main point is only the op has a valid request. I'll put the rest in a point-like style so you respond to each if you wish. You're correct that I do not play like that. The times I did weren't very rewarding and I did it for a whole season. I don't play like that now for a multiple of reasons that I don't mind sharing if you wish to hear. The game is a really big grind fest. I understand why they do it, but think that in certain respects it's a scummy way to produce numbers Again every game has grind. It is to be expected. People that say there shouldn't be grind obviously do not work or practice something. Though this FOMO model that bungie do is too constricting at times. So finishing up... you're right this probably isn't the game for me. Doesn't make my critiques invalid, but you are correct in saying that. That being said I'm still one of the best, if not the best, of my clan that still play and want to do certain activities which is the only reason I keep up with it other then the fact I bought the deluxe edition of beyond light.
