PVP again destroyed PVE - Warlock Stasis

Once again we have a heavy nerfhammer in Warlock abilities and ofc because of PVP. bungie if u wanna delete Warlock to be able to play just let us know, I dont mind all fanboys here telling something or Hunter’s Lovers. This nerf was needed but not so hard, again PvE Experience being hitting by PvP. We have 7m of melee (slap), now with projectile nerfed we have less range. This need to be adjusted. Increase the stasis melee to 20~23m at least. (16m too short). And speedy by 12~14% (or revert to original). Now the real question, Why ONLY Warlocks? Others classes has stronger stasis abilities in PvP too. UDPATE 3.0.0.4 - 0 Changes to other Stasis Classes, and 0 Changes for Warlock over-nerfed abilities. (1 week to nerf, more than 1 year to fix). Great

  • Warlock stasis was far and away, miles better than both titan and hunter versions in pretty much every way. This is coming from someone who barely used to use his warlock and now wants to main it just because of stasis. The warlock stasis needed toning down to bring it in line with the other 2. They couldn't have brought the other 2 up because its just making us too powerful in pve and pvp. The warlock nerf was the only way to go and it was totally justified for both pve and pvp. Have they gone too far? I don't know, I haven't tried it yet, but if they have gone a little too far they just bring it back up a touch and voila. Everyone needs to stop whining, this was fully justified and even the "pvp ruins pve" gang must see that.

    • the main problem i encountered in pvp wasnt even warlocks it was stasis titans being able to have the highest mobility in the game bar none and shot gun ape. but yall hate warlocks so -blam!-ing much a class that could freeze every min was the problem and not the class with a 100% uptime on this stupid -blam!-ing mobility. truely wild

        At least Warlocks get to have 4 fragments at any time now that both aspects are out. Titans only get three and Hunters only get 2. You've been nerfed in the melee department, but that doesn't change the fact that Warlocks have the best aspects, and the most fragment slots available to you which is just a flat out upgrade over the other two classes.

        • What sense does it make giving a class with already absurd melee range, a 24m ranged melee.... any warlock main knows it’s busted, Have you played with the subclass since it’s been nerfed? I’m sure it’s still a good subclass just no longer god tier

            False. You are blaming the PvP community for Bungie inability to split the sandbox. Literally every other game is capable of doing this. Except Destiny 2......???? Stop taking your frustrations out on others and point it in the direction it belongs. Bungie. But you won't blame them. None of you pve lords / fan boys ever do. It's everyone else's fault the game is ass. Not bungies.

              • 16m I’d almost the effective range for sidearms. That is insanely good range for a melee! Celestial fire obviously has infinite range but doesn’t disable a players’ ability to fight back, Titan hammer is same situation, and hunter knife has drop off and activation time.

                • As a 60 year old man who enjoys this game casually, I find it difficult to understand how it can be such an integral part of so many lives when there is an entire world out there beyond light. No Time To Explain is kinda cool but the whole stasis thing does nothing for me. To be clear, I AM blaming pvp players for all the woes of the world that hard core gamers are oblivious to.                   • Guardian abilities should be entirely different from PVP and PVE, that's the only feasible solution imho.

                    Once again people don't think about the stuff they post. Lets go over what each class has in their statis class. Titans have a shoulder charge which doesn't even instant freeze, and also poor hit reg. Hunters have 2 shurikens that have a bit of aim assist but you need 2 to actually fully freeze someone. Warlocks have an instant freeze AoE which can be abused by discipline builds and Monte Carlo. See why they nerfed Warlocks now? Now lets go over supers. Titans have a Fists of Havok but it can freeze. Hunters throw 2 kamas and is a non roaming super. Warlocks have a roaming super with aim assist set to 200, left click has AoE, Right click instantly kills frozen enemies in 10 mile radius. See why they were nerfed? Of course, if you add Cold Snap Grenade to any of those classes, they become 10x as good, because being frozen is an instant death almost 100% of the time if the enemy is half as smart as a goldfish.

                      • Where was everyone complaining about Warlocks having a long range melee when Solar got a ranged one during Sundials? No one? Yall didn't care cause it didn't do crowd control. The crowd control (which is now fixed) was the issue, yall didn't care about range. A warlock is a caster class, they SHOULD have a ranged melee. Heck yall act like hunter's melee doesn't go just as far with the aim of a homing missile and then bounce homing missile into a second mob.

                        • The Hunter has to use both their melee charges to freeze someone. The Titan’s melee is hilariously erratic - the Warlock melee could freeze instantly and was simple to use. Their super can freeze an entire team/group of adds and kill them instantly- the Hunter’s does DoT and again the Titan has that fun melee to deal with. There is nothing about these changes that aren’t justified. And having used Shadebinder in PvE since the nerf, it’s barely affected it. Statis still needs work like changing super freeze/ suppression into a slow effect etc but this is a step in the right direction for sure!

                            • Bungie has closed my neat and argumentative thread: ''STOP f*cking up warlocks again. How much more?'' with the comment: ''This topic violated the Code of Conduct, and was met with Ninja Justice''. . after I got a lot of approval and 400+ comments. Ok devs you definitely gambled it away with me. Refund is coming: Just one week after the release of the new title, the manufacturer has broken various promises and regulations. Several contents of the game had to be deactivated at short notice due to bad programming and player exploits. The game was heavily penalized for one character class by a drastic update and is too hard. There are many cheaters in the game and there is no anti-cheat system. Complaints and suggestions for improvements in the manufacturer forum will be deactivated after one day if they reach too high approval.

                              • 1. The melee is a melee not a sniper 2. You were only using stasis warlock because it was new and you would’ve gone back to well in a few weeks anyway

                                • They pretty much said it in the twab that they release the content in a overpowered state then adjust it after we all start using it. They look at the numbers to compare with the complaining and then come to conclusion that it needs a nerf. Simple as that.

                                • Mate you are the only class with the exotic not got a nerf with it this season the titans and hunters class there exotics are shit because of the nerf on them such as being slow or unable to use your dodge for 15 seconds where the warlock has that poison ability 🤔

                                • People need to approach these changes in a more productive way. People are abusing the forums (including myself at times) with how they’re delivering feedback. These are a great starts to balancing things, and they can get better. Some things take more time If the tone of the feedback is continuously negative to the nth degree, don’t be surprised if bungie pulls the cord on Destiny early. They’re literally working on other projects right now, they have future plans. Destiny will slowly be moved out of their scope. So if you enjoy playing this game and want more if it, be a little more patient and definitely more grateful.

                                  They have done this since the dawn of Destiny. Does it ever make more than a minor difference in PvP? Nope. The PvP guys still whine and complain and PvE is a lesser experience for all of you. The only ones who are happy in all this is.....Bungie and the streamers.
