Do you use the XB6 or XB7 gateway from Xfinity? Or are you using your own modem/router/gateway?

XB7 Gateway only. Forgot to add that. When I had it in bridge and used my own router it was worse
-
Ok. Seems to be an issue mainly affecting the xb6 & xb7 models. You may want to check with xfinity support to see if they have a different model you can try. Alternatively, have you tried to see if the gateway has any updates (possibly even firmware) that you can download/install? Unfortunately, this is all up to xfinity to work out between their support & Bungie.

My hardware is all up to date. Just checked. There isn’t a gateway they’ll switch me to since they said the others aren’t good for my plan, in which it is the best they have.
-
Gotcha. So then you’ll need to keep hounding them (xfinity) to fix the issues their products are causing.

Edited by Big Vaas Mendez: 10/26/2020 10:18:21 PMI’m on the phone with them rn actually and I’ve fully explained everything. They have 0 ideas on what is causing any issues since everything looks good on their end. They don’t know what is up. I’ll edit when the call is finished. Edit: They can’t find an issue. I was on the phone with advanced support and several other representatives. None of them ever heard of this issue and they can’t seem to find any solution. I altered security settings and a few other things in another attempt to fix it, I did get Baboon during the call and pointed it out to them, in which they said nothing abnormal happened. They don’t recommend going to anything but the XB6 or XB7 since everything else is an older model and won’t work properly with their current system. They said they believe it is an issue with the game developer and not them. I explained everything in detail and all they said was “You’d probably have better luck in the forums than with us since we can’t find anything wrong on our end”

Unfortunately, being that it’s mainly only comcast/xfinity users & only users with specific gateways, then that pretty much rules out too much Bungie can do (except work alongside Comcast/xfinity main support).

Which they probably won’t do tbh

Not yet. Money isn’t allowing that rn
Not yet. Money isn’t allowing that rn
From web searches some have fixed issues by down grading their plans. Not sure if it was just to use different hardware or if there was a change in hubs that fixed it but figured I'd toss that out there
-
Thing is, I can’t do that without losing things. My family uses this as well so it’s not an option.
-
This may be completely out of the question for you, but could you possibly try a modem/router that hasn't been provided by Xfinity? Not sure if that is something that they would allow/something you'd be able to attempt.
-
I did try putting my modem in bridge mode and using a self provided router with no results. For me to try again, It would need to wait awhile for me to be able to purchase a really high quality router.
-
You’d need to replace the modem as well, not just a new router... I’ve thought about replacing my XB6 with a $300 Netgear modem/router as a last resort to see if it’s their modem configuration. If you only get a router, it’ll still go through the modem...

Fair enough, thought it was worth a shot. Best of luck!
