I might go for unbroken if that were the case. I kinda lost my will to play comp when going for not forgotten. We would win a game then lose a game for 2 hours and I couldn't take it anymore. A part of my soul died and I lost all motivation to play comp. I'm surprised resetting glory isn't a thing. If people want to suffer in comp, I don't see why bungie wouldn't let them reset the rank. Plus if you already have a revoker, lunas howl and a recluse. Why do you play comp? Plus those wepaons are getting sunset and getting nerfed yet again. LH won't even be a precison anymore. Just a shit 140 with a medicore unforgiving ttk even though 600s are still going to be disgusting. Getting rid of 150s instead of just buffing 140s and letting them 2 crit 1 body which most of the community wanted, is stupid and lazy. Plus pvp has been a sweatfest recently. These kids over the weekend were hitting disgusting shots and I just couldn't compete some games. I was at my dads house with a crap tv so I couldn't see as well. When I got back to my dorm the first game was bad. This kid was just camping with a sniper on bannerfall and somehow got a we ran. The next game is when I took off the meme weapons and put on my redrix and felwinter. I was angry and under the impression that I was just bad or that these kids somehow got better then me overnight. On Twilight Gap I used my sweaty loadout and popped off. Think I had a 8.3 KAD. Then I logged off wanting to end on a good note.

Isn’t glory all sbmm by rank? So if you are a legend and reset back to 0 you’ll be facing the low bracket of players, which is really unfair to them, as with rank based matchmaking you expect to be playing people of similar skill, and that’s too big of a disparity. Better solution may be to extend glory past legend, with a substantial gap between legend 1, 2, 3... and each time you reach one you get a shard and a pinnacle piece. Or a “champions” or “masters” rank after legend where it continues infinitely upward and you can get pinnacle rewards and mats.

Rewards would be a great incentive. For something called competitive there isn't anything to compete for.

Let us reset invincible laggers.

Imo glory should get a reworking into a proper ranked system instead of just taking 3-4 games to hit fabled.
