Yes. Locking adept weapons behind a play list of try hards, sweats, and cheaters where the only advice you ever get is "git gud" is beyond unfair for the vast majority of players.

The adept weapons are always gonna be just slightly better trials weapons. I hate to say it, but weapon stat increases often don't matter very much. It always comes down to the actual perks to make it good. I think raids should have adept weapons, but it shouldn't be looked at as if they're "locking away" weapons behind going flawless. The adepts we would get from strikes or raids would already be different anyways. It's not like they're gonna hand us the summoner for running a gm. Those guns would still be just as locked away as they are right now, and you can get competitive equivalents just by running the trials engram bounty, which takes very little actual effort. Of course, these weapons are better than their regular equivalents, or else there's little reason to get them, but you're only winning because of it one out of 10 million times. Just like it was in d1.

I like the trials adept loot idea again but there should be the same thing on the pve side also for the top pve things like raids imo

There's not much advice for trials. It's either "train to death, and hope you don't run in to cheaters", or "cheat". Some people just don't have the time to invest in trials. I used to back in D1, but now I've got college n shit. I can't do it. Frankly, it's a weapon with 3 stat points in each category and slightly better mods. Would it be neat to have one? Sure. Is the game gonna be unplayable without them? No.

Maybe people need to understand that not everything in a game is obtainable through various means. Just because Jimmy isn’t good at PvP doesn’t mean he gets to have the loot. Just like if Tommy isn’t good at PvE, we’ll he doesn’t get the loot either.

Honestly the only point I'm arguing is that trials is kinda ass, and putting really awesome rewards behind a mode that is chockful of cheaters sucks ass. I don't have a problem with not being able to get something. I have a problem that even if my skill is high enough, I can still have a 1:30 time invest ruined bc some jackass decided to pay for cheats. I just want trials to be fixed. Then I won't have a problem with adepts at all.

It’s bad on PC. It’s also been the same stale meta for the past year. No change. Sure console has some DDossing problems as well, but with the cheating sites being sued, the amount of cheaters will slowly start to decline.
