I understand why they are putting some content in the DCV. We are not losing it, it will come back with different seasons when its relevant.
What im not ok with is the sunsetting of armors and weapons people have spent thousands of hours grinding for.
They could have left our armors alone and just bring out new ornaments that we can chase to change the appearance of our armors.
The they could even give us something similar to the recaster that would let use roll armors higher stats. Give us more control over what stat can be the dominant stat on said roll.
Make Nightfalls double loot a normal thing and give us higher tier(gear with better rolls) legendaries and exotics.
Strike specific loot can be a guranteed drop on nightfall ordeals(easier farming).
There are lots of alternative routes they coulda taken from sunsetting.
Now you keep using the term sunsetting in relation to content going away. Sunsetting only applies to gear. The content going away is getting locked in the DCV.

C’mon man! I can’t tell if people are trolling this or what. But there is a big difference between loosing and losing. There have been many posts about the incorrect use of this word ‘loose’. I’m not saying you have to spell EVERY word right or make zero grammar mistakes, but this one seems to come to the forefront A LOT!

I know there is a difference man, its obviously a type'o . There is another word that gets mixed up as well there and their.

How do you feel about an exclusive legendary weapon that was only created to be an incentive to buy the more expensive editions of destiny being sunsetted?
-
They need to amp up that pay-to-win strat a fair bit now
-
It wasn't a good weapon, but still.

No, but the arc buddy might be effective especially in PvP...
-
Agreed in all respects.

If they had the money/resources to make d3 they would but they dont hence this BS about DCV and not wanting to restart the game. D3 woulda solved all their problems about the game being too big to maintain.
-
It might have. It could also create a bigger problem making a third.
