Im curious to see what people are most hyped about with the new DLC.
New space to play in, new enemies or new loot to get?
Lemme know.

45 RepliesEdited by Seth, Knower of Things: 10/4/2020 11:57:28 AMLol go ask reddit. People here are majority cynical assholes who are just gonna take your question as an excuse to whine. To answer your question though: lore. Don’t care how the story missions themselves play out, so long as the stories in/around them are enjoyable.

1 ReplyI just cannot wait to regrind all my weapons, like im actually loosing my mind waiting for this expansion, i feel like i will go crazy if i have to wait anymore, i just keep thinking about all the beautiful reused weapons i can grind for again, i just cant -blam!-ing take it anymore, i just dont think i'll make it. Please...help....me
-
Something new to do even though we'll just be grinding the same stuff we do now just for new lore.
-
3 RepliesFinding out how you guys feel about it.
-
Watching all the supposed "quitters" coming back like we wouldn't notice.
-
1 ReplyFinding out how much actual content we get

Messing around with the new subclasses, sandbox updates/changes, finding new gear that's worthwhile, and hopefully better-looking(in my clearly subjective opinon) armor. Obviously transmog will help whenever it comes around(I believe it's supposed to ship in 2021), but new designs are always nice to have as options.

1 ReplyI’m excited about adding perks to your ghosts. Finally I can grind prisms without running hero or higher difficulty nightfall ordeals to get them. That and the new subclasses
-
10 RepliesHonestly, a lot. I'm kind of tired of the negative posts (do your thing, guys, but many of us are excited). I'll try to add some positive vibes to the discussion. New raid, new strikes, and nostalgic D1 content (especially strikes and raid) are the real draws for me, as I had ~700 active hours in D1 and have barely touched it in five years. I'm also having a lot of fun saving materials from double NF loot to go crazy masterworking tons of new armor and weapons next season. I'm also hoping to get those last two exotics and eight catalysts that have eluded me thus far. Oh, and new supers. Ready for November 10.

7 RepliesThe new raid, VoG (when it hits) and Europa. Having a brand new location so different from current areas is going to be really exciting.
-
2 Replies4K 60fps on Series X with faster load times. Look I know PC has had it forever, but it’s like the first time you played on PC to us console folk.

Edited by Demon_XXVII: 10/5/2020 4:11:14 PMFinding out •How many Hamster miles does we need to run to ‘earn’ 20 Brightdust & 100 XP & •If the Stranger actually gets time to explain what she didn’t have time to explain Or will Bungie kill her off within 3 campaign missions? 🤔🤯🥴😆 Theory In Destiny 1 there is a cutscene on Venus when the Exo Stranger finally talks to our guardian face to face. In that scene she goes from talking to our guardian to frantically talking to someone over her comms. What if that person she’s talking to (on those comms) is our guardian/Eris/Drifter when Beyond Light takes place, when facing the Vex/Darkness/Veil etc And if she had explained (back in the D1 timeline) what would happen (from her knowledge - and the avoidance at clarity (”I don’t even have time to explain why I don’t have time to explain”) she avoided altering time, having to be vague to avoid the old time paradox, thus changing our Destiny (our actions and decisions) & everything that they knew from the Future (Oryx/D2/Forsaken/Save Saint14/Beyond Light etc) - and a failed pathway on the Timeline I believe the Stranger is from a failed timeline where the Darkness wins, and she is traveling through all the other timelines to find the one where we actually win In every (or many) timelines/threads/pathways, she has to set the guardian on his path (telling us to face the hive, leading us to Venus, etc.) in order to determine if we are indeed THE guardian from THE timeline where we have a chance. 🤔

The meltdown on here and Reddit when people realise its yet another story of run here, shoot all these, now run here that barely lasts six hours. The realisation that people have paid yet more money for less content than they had before, and one of new additions is a recycled area, plus all the gear and weapons sunsetting with their replacements, if we even get any, most likely being cut and pastes from D1. Plus the realisation that the new DLC and seasons are going to be bugged, just like this year, and here we go again on the tedious grind for a power level that exists only to justify the tedious grind to get to a number that matters not one jot. Cyberpunk 2077 will be getting my time.

5 RepliesThis season is the last season I've paid for. After 6 years of paying and playing all new content they drop, I'm looking forward to not buying Beyond Light or any other expansion. I'm also looking forward to not grinding on the first day of a DLC drop. Looking forward to not grinding the first week. Actually I'm looking forward to not grinding at all. Lol. I'm glad I'm off the infinite Hamster Wheel!!! Game feels like a Digital Slavery. Enjoy!
-
Lore,campaign and the soundtrack obviously
-
Replaying the recycled content 😂
-
The free version to see if it’s worth putting anymore money in it. This will be the first time since D1 launched I don’t have the full game at release. I’ve grown tired of the mobile game hamster wheel this franchise has become. The story used to be told as you played the game. It wasn’t until last week when I read a post from someone, that read the lore, that explained how the seasons tied together. Until then I thought each season was just random busy work grind. It would’ve been nice to find out as I’m playing the game how each activity triggered an event leading into the next season.
-
The unique public event in Europa where you kill everything that moves. That’s the most fun I have in this game.
-
1 ReplyRecycled content, I just can’t wait to regrind for everything I’ve earned to date!
-
New subclasses are cool but I'm so looking forward to a nice looking destination. Europa looks so damn good.
-
I’m curious to see how they implement the cosmodrome and if they change it as much as they changed the moon from D1
-
Stasis, story, raid, Exo Stranger, Drifter.
-
Europa (since it seems to be something Bungie has had planned for Destiny for 6+ years) & The Deep Stone Crypt (I play an Exo Titan main and have been fascinated at the little knowledge that has been revealed about these ancient warmachines). Plus, I am curious about what the Darkness is up to in the Sol system and the changes they are making to the Cosmodrome (one of my favorite patrol areas in D1).
-
the likelyhood that the frequency of me logging in is down so low that i wont get an update.
-
New Super, new planet, hopefully a good story, and new list of things I get to hear people cry about.
