I paid $100 for the base game. $50 for forsaken and $50 for Shadow keep. That’s $200 of content I paid for that’s being removed from the game. People absolutely have a right to complain

But along with lot's of re-issued content from D1, re-issued weapons. And overall less content with sunsetting in mind. So for some(!) new content, lots of content gets removed a noticable part of the so called new content is re-issued anyway. It's like McDonalds introduced two new burgers and one re-issued one from the past. But also deletes 33% of the overall sortiment. How is that a good deal?

And someone should explain to you that sunsetting and the DCV aren’t the same thing. Bungie has said the initial content vault will be bigger than the rest to get the game to a more manageable size.

Not to me to mention that every time I want to use that content I have to give Sony $10 to turn destiny on, and destiny $10 to unlock half the content I’ve already paid for. Absolute joke.
