Isn’t it the same thing that happened in destiny? New expansion, old weapons and armor left behind, new weapons and armor take their place? I’m mostly ok with this esp since they aren’t touching exotics. The part that makes me scratch my head is reissuing those same sunsetting guns with a higher light cap before the originals have been sunsetted. Strange.

They sunset weapons and armor once in D1 in D2 we’ve sunset weapons once and armor at least 3 times now this will be 4.

It is the same, except if I remember right bungie stopped sunsetting due to pushback from the community, which (again, if memory serves) is why infusion was introduced.
