Banned For Being Better.
Was recently playing rumbles in one of these games I encountered a player who was losing his 1v1 too me left and right. Then it was super time, and here comes the titan with hammers about 40m off. So i use almost my entire mag of a summoner into him and barely pull off the kill. Later im messaged on psn the person claimed i was cheating and was going to report me as such daily till my account gets banned. Mind you im on ps4 not pc. I don't use hacks nor have the knowledge of how to implement such. My question is something going to be done or is pvp just going to be a bunch of people who would rather ban the better person then spend the time to get better themselves.

Let me clear that post with a short fact: Bungie doesn't ban people that are good, they ban people that hack or bug abuse. You are welcome.

If they actually look into it and you really didn't do anything you'll be fine no matter how many times he reports you.

That report won't do anything. He'll actually get himself banned for excessive reporting if he's serious about doing it every day.

2 RepliesYou actually got banned? I didnt realize that Bungie was in the business of banning high skill players. Seems like a weird stance to take. Usually people get restrictions or bans for cheating or bad internet.

You’ll get messages like that from any game but I wouldn’t worry about that. They’ll have to prove every time they report you will be fine.

Don’t think your going to get banned. If you have done nothing wrong and the person keeps at it they will actually get in trouble for miss use of the report function.
