ok so i had a brain fart for a sidearm buff
this is that, sidearms should have a quality of life update
what im saying/wanting is
base stability increased by 20 to 40 points
base handling increase 30 to 40 points
i say a varying stat buff because some sidearms already are pretty good and don't need a major buff however there are some that would feel and function better with these changes, as right now they feel more like a hand cannon then what a pistol should
please comment your opinions as i feel this is the best way for player to get their ideas and opinions out

Sidearms are like legendary last words in PvP in pve they're still quite strong. If anything I'd rather they get toned down but I'm in the minority here

Definitely not if anything they could use a slight range nerf. Side arms > hand cannons.

you want to buff sidearms for what? What about smg's? They are straight trash and have been for a long time except for one broken perk on the recluse.

nah there good only problem is that it gives me super low range, lower than an smg. maybe longer range pistol exotic 😳

Edited by Amazinite: 3/21/2020 4:33:26 AMAt the very least, console needs a stability buff for sidearms. It’s so sad how they’re practically unusable outside of shotgun range on console, but I use them all the time on PC. SMGs as well.

Edited by Demon_XXVII: 3/21/2020 7:00:33 AMSidearms are ridiculously op at the moment Especially the triple burst versions Yes, a Sidearm should have good impact & great handling (so maybe buff these) to help combat Shitguns/Handcannons/SMG etc But they really need a huge range nerf & a slight RoF nerf (They should never be firing across distances at Scout/Pulse Range) or out firing a fast Pulse/SMG/Auto Rifle But be used in the CQB/Short ranges & be really handy in tight locations, tunnels/caves etc with enough flinch at close range to persuade a shitgunner/SMG wielding opponent to back up & re-evaluate! Edited to change ‘map’ for the more suitable ‘distances’
