Uldren and the Vanguard Dare

I’ve been doing a bit of lore reading and listening to My Name Is Byf and the idea of the Guardian formally known as Uldren Sov becoming the Hunter Vanguard keeps coming up. The two main justifications I’ve seen are: 1. It’s a fitting punishment to permanently ground the murderer of Cayde-6. 2. Since Uldren Sov killed Cayde-6 then he has accomplished the Dare and has earned the position of Hunter Vanguard. I have a big question about this logic, which I do agree with, but there is a huge technicality. From my understanding a Guardian/Risen is absolved from everything pertaining their former mortal life. Essentially, in the eyes of humanity’s law Uldren Sov and the Guardian that was born from his corpse are two entirely different people legally. If that is indeed the case, wouldn’t that mean that the Guardian that has been Raised by Pulled Pork is not eligible for becoming Hunter Vanguard as he did not accomplish the Dare?

Also, Cayde’s Dare was severely flawed, which is why Ikora made an official statement that the Hunters would need to pick the next Hunter Vanguard themselves. Cayde’s Dare states that the Hunter who killed him would take his place. This Dare is terrible. If a non-Guardian kills him, the Dare is pointless. If a Hunter kills him (which is very unlikely because very few Guardians would murder other Guardians), they’re probably a bad person. And Cayde was not killed by a Hunter, he was killed by Uldren. So Cayde’s Dare failed spectacularly, even worse than the Andal/Cayde Dare. And, on top of that, the new “Uldren” Lightbearer hasn’t joined the City and become a Guardian yet. He is only a Risen/Lightbearer. And even if he becomes a Guardian, he could pick a different Class. A Lightbearer chooses their Class based on their goals/beliefs/pursuits/personality/etc. We don’t know what his goals will be. And he is an entirely different person. Lore has confirmed that Risen can have different personalities from their previous lives.
