2 RepliesI can solo carry my team to gold rank in overwatch, sink a galleon alone in sea of thieves, get a solo squad victory in fortnite, but get 0 kills in crucible and lose horribly every time. Why

PvP is not fun for the above average either.

1 ReplyI finally did the grind for randys throwing knife for 3 days of pvp and im pretty sure i have a brain aneurysm now. Never doing that again
-
1 ReplyI think Destiny is really losing the casual base, so you're getting to the point where the median player's skill is much higher and it shows when you try to jump into Crucible.
-
11 RepliesThat's why SBMM is important. You can be at any level in Overwatch and still have fun. A Diamond ranked player should NEVER be balanced with a Bronze or Silver ranked player. That's not fun for the Diamond or Bronze player.

1 ReplyHave you tried flying into the Tower yet? Loads of fun😂😂😂

1 Replydon't like it don't play it i agree with OP fwiw, which is why i don't play PvP in D2 a casual reading of this forum now and then will make it obvious that PvP is in sad shape and is not a fun experience for many players.

It’s not fun for a lot of people. The lag, the inconsistent/rng mechanics such as bloom/hit registration, sbmm in every playlist except one which still has team balancing and punishes good players(???), and the amount of time it takes between balance patches of substance just exhausts and frustrates everybody.
-
1 ReplyIts not fun for most, not just the average. :P
-
What do you call average? Why would you say that you know who or what the average player is? Do you know what the average player KD, KDA or other stats has based on actual facts or are you just tossing out a one liner void of any factual representation at all?
-
It's not my favorite PvP game, but its definitely unique and fairly competent. There's just nothing to play for, and it's impossible to balance.

2 RepliesI'm pretty damn average and I'm still having fun. In comp especially. Finally got Luna's Howl!

PVP is not fun for the average player Yep
Your profile is here: https://destinytracker.com/destiny-2/profile/xbl/coop304/overview ...and the numbers are well below average. However, I used to have similar numbers to your current profile, and over time my numbers rose as I practiced, got better gear, and continued regular crucible scrimmages. I never settled for farming any gear that didn't have god-roll perks -- those perks make a huge PVP difference. Over time you will acquire more god-roll gear provided that you keep chasing them. Once you have an optimum set-up, then your numbers will rise. Suggestion -- don't use scouts for PVP. Run at least one good primary like Spare Rations, Ace of Spares, Last Word, Austringer, Vigilance Wing... anything with a sub-one-second time to kill, along with a shot gun, sniper, or other quick kill secondary.

With SBMM it should only be fun for the average player.

You want PvP tips? Might be more fun if you gain more skills?
