Perks like QuickDraw, Snapshot, Backup Plan, High Impact Reserves, Under Pressure, and Slideshot do not belong on special weapons. They incentivize using special weapons as a "get-out-of-jail-free" card instead of being something you use for scenarios where you NEED high damage, like dealing with Supers.

Not really. You would just need to actually THINK about using it instead of whipping it out as a last resort. I main snipers, and pre-laning is a huge part of it.

ok watch sniper usage completely fall off the face of the earth without snapshot or quickdraw. flinch is already insane its almost impossible to snipe someone without an initial reaction

What you're describing is the exact opposite of an initial reaction. Special weapons should not be a "free kill" button. It's almost like that's why they called them SPECIAL WEAPONS. They do one job very well and don't do anything else well. And that's how they should be. Snipers are not supposed to be mid-range battle weapons, they're designed for taking slow, precise shots from a distance. You want fast-paced, mid-range fights with quick reactions? Use a hand cannon.
