Because you can’t expect all of that in a $10 content drop with everything else going on around you as well

*Looks at the precursor Vex* I rest my case
-
The Precursor Vex have already appeared in D2 though.
-
Yeah remind me how much curse of Osiris used to cost?
-
How is that relevant to this?
-
Because you made the argument that you can't expect new/reskins for enemies for a ten dollar expansion. While CoO had two reskins and was only fifteen dollars. That's his point.
-
It was like $20 when it first dropped. $10 is not $20
-
A new raid, a full campaign, two strikes, and a new location is a little more than what we got in Season of Dawn, you know?
-
Yes. For $20. Not $10. They can’t do all that and make it cost only $10.
-
No. They cannot. And no one was arguing that. However, porting over textures from the first game, and touching them up would be well within their reach, if an extra ten dollars can afford a raid, new planet, and two strikes.
-
If you really think that then by all means go ahead and go down to Bungie Studios and try it out
-
Use old D1 models. Not that hard
-
@Dredgen Sol @Sans I see companies reuse content very often so i don't see why it isn't cost effective, and also seeing House of Dusk Fallen in the past just really broke my immersion, and remember that they made the Kell's Scourge unique for Black Armory
-
Yeah, it’s why I love the KS. They looked different, spider’s boys look different. Clearly the fallen aren’t of one mind like the vex. They just had to redo the D1 armor purple. Heck, make them kings colors (since house of rain was supposed destroyed during the whirlwind or just after). The fallen weaker houses get absorbed after all. I love the background but bungie needs to keep from recon themselves so hard.
-
They’d have to import them and upgrade them graphically to fit D2. That’s harder than you think
-
but they would have to devote time for new textures for dregs, vandals, captains etc. which I imagine would be a waste of time for them when that time could be used on other assets

Other reused assets
