Crucible is not easy, and sometimes can be very frustrating, BUT we love it. Why? Because it is instant challenge, instant endgame and instant fun. The only place that armor rolls, weapon rolls truly matter.
I don't ask for another Not Forgotten, or a Recluse.
Don't forget that pvp players are the people who keep your game running. Once Raids, and Endgame content is done all casual players leave the game, but WE are spending time inside your Crucible, against bad matchmaking, bad lobby balancing, frustrating lag, network manipulation, cheaters, almost all the toxic aspect of the game is in the PVP. But we are not rewarded yet.
Give us universal ornaments, new armor sets, new rolls of the original D2 crucible guns, some new emblems, shaders, something to show off that we spent time and we are grinding the Crucible and a way to masterwork our armor because the stats in PVP do matter.

Average PVP participation is around 12% so If you think that a bunch of 400 pound abnormal, spineless, gutless, low life, soiled, debased, degenerate, degraded, deviant, depraved, yellow bellied, back stabbing, whacked out sociopathic pub stomping eilitists cowards living in mommy's basement are keeping Destiny 2 alive then you are a true moron.

No, I disagree completely. As a non pvp player that enjoys pve content, this arguement is ridiculous. They flat just don't need pvp content much. Those who play it all the time can't let go of the meta to have a good time in crucible. They just pup stomp everyone and make the game less enjoyable for all players. And chase away new players. They use lower mmr people to mm with easier players. And just overall really leaves a bad impression on everyone. And I really advocate for pvp to be removed or just left alone to fester in the corner.

Yes so cheaters will get more rewards. Well said. Bungie should actually do the opposite for killing carriers' business and cheaters
-
Nah pvp gets enough love Pve needs some proper love now
-
Valors rank ups/resets should give shards/prisms.
-
Yet pve numbers are regularly well above pvp. But pvp keeps the game alive. You dont know what you're talking about. Especially when so many pve players are forced to play pvp to get weapons like recluse to use in pve
-
Seems you made snowflakes mad have an upvote man
-
I haven't played pvp for over a year. I'm still here. And if it's so fun, why do you need rewards to play?
-
Edited by Veoleta: 12/9/2019 2:58:59 PMAll the angry PvE only players are just adorable.
-
Pinnacle drop for Valor reset should be in the game.
-
Bungie: but we already give you all that.... Its in the eververse dum dum.
-
It has always been the game mode that drops the most rewards per activity... you can’t ask for more.
-
The more rewards pvp offers the more the complaints go up. That would be entertaining
-
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, oh you were not joking. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, pvp is not endgame, pvp is not a challenge, and your weapon rolls matter just as little in pvp as they do in pve. Why do you think you get killed by the same 6 weapons? Because it doesnt matter. Trials was endgame, i hated the mode but it was the true pvp endgame. Comp could be considered endgame but only if you go for pinnacle/ritual weapons, because apart from that it doesnt have any unique rewards. Oh and you think the casuals leave after they beat the raid? No, the casuals would never see the inside of the raid. People who beat the raid keep beating it for good gear, god rolled pulse rifles, god rolled shotguns, trying to get the enlightened title, the divinity and so on. Dont pretend that pvp is what is keeping this game alive because it is not true and the numbers proof it. Everytime there is a pve release or event the game is populated, when there is iron banner or... no wait thats the only thing pvp has going for it. Anyway when there is an iron banner there are more pvp players, but its nothing special compared to the numbers pve can pull in. So dont pretend pvp is the spine of this game because its not. And dont forget the fact that most good weapons or perks get nerfed because of pvp, and im not going to name any example because you know well enough that its true.

No. They ruined the game.. Give them less.
-
Typical in his own world pvp player. Wtf are you talkin bout, the only place where weapon and armor rolls matter? Pvp players keep the game running? News flash sally no one plays pvp, try spending less time in it
-
Pvp is the reason why all of our supers and weapons are trash in pve. Y’all don’t deserve any rewards. Crucible tokens is good enough.
-
Destiny is not “kept running” by PvP. Sorry, it just isn’t. Yes, PvP makes up a good portion of the player base and the absence of those players would affect Bungie’s revenue but it’s not the only thing keeping Destiny going. And for a game mode you love so much, y’all seem to complain about it a lot.
-
Destiny 2 is PVE main , get over it !!!!
-
Edited by BegFourMercy: 12/7/2019 4:14:02 PMNope. You all ruined the game.

"Don't forget that pvp players are the people who keep your game running." Lies

Edited by Wheelaa1: 12/7/2019 10:45:30 PMWhy do people still spout this BS that PvP is keeping D2 alive. It never has, it never will, the figures - even during ToO heydays - have never shown this. Even during PvP focused weeks like IB, it never has more than 30-32% of active guardians playing it at any moment. When there is no IB or other PvP event, it very rarely sees more than 20% of active guardians playing it. And this is keeping the game alive? Just wow, such utter ongoing stupidity. Unsurprising, as who in their right mind would want to play such a pathetic excuse for a PvP in the first place!?!?! But come on people, really... Right now - https://warmind.io/activity - 17%. Rather, PvP needs to be removed. Launch D2 was a disgrace. And that was largely due to balancing the entire game around PvP. D2 has never recovered from this (and regardless I don't think this pathetic dress sim ever will), and with PvP and the inane way Bungo shoehorn it into the game it won't. Edit - just on the 17%. This is the very tail end of a poor season. People are bored of D2, what minimal loot there is has been acquired. It's the lull before, well, the next season of disappointment. My point is, if PvP really was keeping D2 alive, then surely this is the time, the most applicable time there is, for PvP to be clearly showing that it is 'keeping the game alive'. 17%. Yeah... Edit 2 - Lots of people do not seem to realise that until very recently the 'Crucible' figure was actually itself split into QP, Comp, whatever the weekly playlist was, and when applicable IB? So that 17% was actually split into 3 (sometimes 4) separate figures, and typically that would have been 8/8/1. So the whole "17% is a good figure argument, better than many individual PvE modes" is worthless. When you consider D2 as a whole there are 3 very distinct elements to it (aside from dress shopping). PvE, PvPvE and PvP. Split in active players, outside of IB weeks, is PvP 15-20%, PvPvE 5-10%, PvE 70-80%. Nuff said!!!!! Edit 3 - my bad, PvP figure was split more than 3 ways usually. Just looking through some old figures I have, and for example early June this year we had figures for QP / Comp / Private / Rumble / Breakthrough. Edit 4 - To clarify something, because, somewhat unbelieveably, it needs to be clarified. PvE / PvP is a universal distinction. Ask yourselves, what's the difference between a raid and a strike? Or a patrol and a public event? Same gameplay, different rules. Now what's the difference between Clash and Control. I wonder...could it be same gameplay, different rules? Howsoever warmind categorises activities - and as I have said above Crucible used to be split into 5 (I suspect the amalgamation was deliberate...) - this game is just 3 things, PvE, PvP, Gambit.

So, I finally got Not Forgotten today. I didn't even get a triumph for claiming it. There wasn't even a banner when I hit 5500 Glory. You want to talk about lackluster rewards, this is it. This gun is going to sit in my vault until probably the end if D2. I've been grinding for this thing for multiple seasons now. As good as it feels to finally get it, I still feel pretty empty because it's garbage, now. I completely agree that we as a PvP community need better rewards.
-
It's pretty rewarding killing try hard who run recluse every f$%&ing match
-
Fire who ever designed the new crucible maps
-
At least, i hope they will give us some low chance to get High stat gear with the tockens like the raiding gear. I don't ask for anything else.
