Crucible is trash
‘Renewed focus on pvp’ yea, lmao. Bungie youre just pathetic, youll lie to get people to buy, and you NEVER deliver. Pvp is what this games relies on when the content droughts are here, and you just plain dont give a -blam!- about it. It’s baffling. Absolutely nothing has been done about this shit stain of a game mode, its just piss poor. Matchmaking is pathetic, balance is even worse, your PLAYERS come off as equals to the amount of braindead you guys put out there. I cannot tell you how many just straight terrible players i run into in a session, ALWAYS paired with me too. Its fantastic

With the addition of Stasis, Crucible is even more garbage now. Same for Gambit. Basically, YOU CAN'T find a Crucible match where there are no Stasis (ab)users. It's unbalanced because Bungie makes you PAY for Beyond Light (which added Stasis), so that means you PAY for IN-GAME ADVANTAGE (As in Stasis, exotic weapons and armor that no one else has access to).So yeah, I suggest you don't play Crucible or Gambit unless you really want to sell your kidneys to buy "Legendary Edition" that has every DLC (And upcoming DLC) as well as Season 1. As one legendary Steam user said "a paid game that has microtransactions; typically most games will either be completely free to play and have microtransactions, or completely subscription-based/paid and have no microtransactions; Bungie triple-dipped by having a "free" game with paid expansions, paid subscriptions (through the seasonal pass), and still has microtransactions"

Honestly bro I agree 1000000% Bungie ur -blam!-ing terrible wen it comes to match making in pvp I’m not complaining here just calling it how I see it Bungie your absolutely pathetic when it comes to actual competition in a game that requires PVP . There is no real competition when you have people running around with shot guns the entirety of a match . Bungie you waste peoples times and say and try to make your product look good but it’s actually sad and respectably saying it’s sad . You guys nerf everything in ur -blam!-ing game that’s why destiny 2 was dead as hell for almost 2 years straight cause Bungie you -blam!- up your own game !! I hope you guys read this and actually try to change a -blam!-ing perspective on the competition on this shit of a game . HOWEVER PVE IS NICE ! But when it comes to pvp you mfs need everything it’s honestly annoying every single gun has to be a nerf every time you switch your weapon you lose ammo for that gun everytime you spawn in with sum weapons you only have one round in the magazine to do anything and when you run out of ammo in the crumble your basically -blam!-ed . It’s sad and Bungie ur -blam!-ing trash for trash for this . I’ll never like you guys like how I used to cause you guys ruin your own product destiny 2 is -blam!-ing sad and trash and the only ones to blame for this trash heap landfill of a game is you Bungie . -blam!-ing get a grip and actually -blam!-ing do something about this issue your losing loyal fans over your -blam!-ing stupidness get it together seriously Bungie !!!!! My honest rating on the game even with beyond light out is a -blam!-ing 3/10 fix this shit !

Also WTF do trials and real good players keep wanting to show off in casual matches. It's old stupid and just f-d up. This is why casuals don't play crucible because we get ran out and give up on crucible. No balance at all. Especially with teen shot wow

Crucible has been trash since D2 came out. It punishes the casuals and rewards the try hards. I'm a casual only I rather do pve but because we are required to do crucible for exotic quests I don't finish.

4 RepliesCrucible would be a lot funner if cheaters and bots weren't running rampant. macros for insta heals, endless heavy ammo, seeing threw walls, scripted bots, The list goes on and on. Devs should jump in and play competitive mode! See how much fun this isn't. it's a game breaking issue that really needs to be addressed.

From what you have said, what i have seen is you could have good players on your team but its on organization of the players in game. If the other team is better focused then it will be a landslide regardless of skill. You cant control the unknown factors of synergy. The game can only factor in the hard numbers not the soft variables.

1 ReplyAgreed. Once upon a time, me, somewhere low-mid tier average player, gone and played classic mix. Got in a team of 6 randoms(incl. Me) with random gear (2 just started plaging d2 as new light). Enemies? Well. Stack of 6. Pre-made. 5 Lord of Wolves, 1 Lunas Howl. 3 titans (all with OEM), 2 blade of dawn warlocks, and a hunter. We got destroyed. Around the score of 52/7 (it was control) my team size deacreased by 1, after that, by another one, second who left was me. Btw. Thanks Bungo for me hating crucible.

4 RepliesExcept they have done more changes to crucible than they have done throughout the entirety of Y2. They do have a renewed focus. They removed and added some maps, finally announced some nerfs (and made some as well) that were needed, crucible labs is back, returned a gamemode, made a new one, added solo queue for competitive, improved the glory system, improved the win streak system, improved matchmaking (I have had mixed matches but it has been better compared to constantly getting stomped by people superior to my skill level every match), 3 set modes (although clash should be a set mode instead of control). They have done a lot to crucible so far, especially when compared to the massive lack of attention they provided it in Y2. Just because you have some bad matches does not mean they never did anything. They did do things, and they will continue to do things. They do have a renewed focus on PvP whether you want to admit it or not. They never lied. Would you rather OEM and Recluse not be getting their upcoming nerfs and rather let them run rampant even longer? Would you rather them revert all the changes they made? No. You wouldn't. Because you would still be here and then you would actually HAVE a reason to complain, but right now frankly you do not.

I always thought valor playlists were for laid back play. Hence why one was called quickplay and the other competitive. I'm just vibing the few times I play in the valor playlists.
